I like collecting Allman videos, and all the great vintage footage uploaded recently to Concert Vault (http://www.concertvault.com/the-allman-brothers-band/video/) made me wonder what else might be out there. I don't know if there are any other shows that Bill Graham or anyone else taped but I imagine there must be some great footage out there. I just wanted to ask about some 70's shows that might have footage floating around. If you happen to know anything about the below shows, I'd appreciate the info. Thanks.

Also, please check out my master list of Allman Brothers video:
http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&am p;file=viewthread&tid=134968

1. 11/25/75-Civic Center, Providence, RI

I am only aware of video for one song. The video I've seen first has Jimmy Carter introduce the band, then it cuts to One Way Out, which is not the first song. Does video exist of the rest of the show, and does anyone have it?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6sOsBiH4uU

2. 3/13/76-Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY

I am only aware of video of a couple of minutes of Ramblin' Man. It seems to have been recorded off TV, because there is a telephone number flashing on screen. Does video exist for the rest of the show, and does anyone have it?

3. 9/26/73-Winterland Ballroom, San Francisco, CA

Kirk West mentioned that black and white footage from three cameras exists for this entire show. In the past someone uploaded a few short clips to YouTube. Does this show circulate in trading circles? Could it ever be released?

4. 9/10/73-Grand Opera House, Macon, GA

The Saturday Night in Macon DVD has 5 songs. According to the set list on this site there were 10 songs played. I read the "One Way Out" book so I know that night didn't go well, so the footage might not be very good, but is there still video of the other five songs performed?

(Added 9/4/14)

5. 2/??/70 at Fillmore East

On the forum in 2007 someone said they had nearly 13 minutes of ABB playing Mountain Jam in February 1970, and that there was two or three more reels of footage out there. Clay Pelland said he believed the date was 2/14/70. The thread mentions that a private owner possessed the film, and had conditions to be met. Are there any developments regarding this footage?

Answered (10/19/14): http://vimeo.com/109378311
Thanks jmorgs12!

6. 3/??/71 at Fillmore East

Apparently there was silent footage taken from the March 71 Fillmore run. Was the specific show ever identified? Does the footage circulate in trading?

Answered (9/6/14): http://vid43.photobucket.com/albums/e400/scotiadave/ABBMarch71NY_zpseffe0d4 c.mp4
Thanks Scotiadave!

7. 9/26/71 in Houstin Texas

There was some super 8 footage taken of the show. Does anyone have this footage?

8. 4/7/72-Manley Fieldhouse, Syracuse, NY

I ran across the below thread from 10 years ago. Bluzstringer gives a clear and detailed account of the 4/7/72 show being captured on video. To say the least, it would be amazing to see footage from the 5 man era. Has anyone with resources and nohow ever looked into this? I'd be curious if Kirk West, EJ Devokaitis, or whoever is involved with the archives, is aware of this and attempted to find the footage.

(added 9/16/14)

9. 1/15/71-Appalachian State University, Boone, NC

I ran across the below thread from 2004. In it trorrer says he had a friend who came into possession of reel to reel video footage of the ABB's show from 1/15/71. Has anyone attempted to digitize this footage? If so, has it been traded at all?
http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&am p;file=viewthread&tid=15161

And speaking of videos, if anyone would be interesting in trading my list can be found at: http://db.etree.org/artlewis3

Regarding 9-26-73, I have it from very good sources that the show was professionally recorded. I have not seen or heard about it circulating. If I remember correctly, the Ramblin' Man performance did appear on a tribute DVD originally put together by contributing member, Denza. This DVD also included the earlier recorded Night in Macon (just the originally televised songs) and a documentary about Byron, Ga. from the time of the Atlanta Pop Festival in 1970.

That was the show included with last year's Brothers & Sisters rerelease, no? (9/26 that is)

Part of that b&w footage is on the CMT show on southern rock, showing the band doing Blue Sky -- had never seen that before

oooo I am SURE I saw this on TV (sophmore in HS, and always watched "In Concert"), and just was some HUGE cement of my deep love for this band. FM Radio (WNEW) being what it was back in the day, and being an Allison Steele "Nightbird" wannabe, we were exposed to so much awesome music - so off I went to Broadcasting School!

I haven't heard from anyone about trading the 9/26/73 show so I have to assume the video is not traded, which is disappointing. There was someone on YouTube, Baswld68, who posted two minute video clips each of Blue Sky and Ramblin' Man from that show (although they were mislabeled as 12/31/73). Baswld68's account has since been taken down, but I was holding out hope that someone else had it. It would be really great to see complete footage of this era of the band.

Unfortunately this forum isnít very active, so I didnít get many responses to my questions (or maybe itís just that nobody knows). Nevertheless, I thought Iíd add a few more video questions, even though Iím guessing I wonít get any responses. If anyone knows anything regarding my initial questions, or these new questions, I would really appreciate the info.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it.
There seems to be so little footage of Duane compared to other acts of the day, its always great to see something new.

Does anyone have any answers to these questions (which are listed in the first post)? So far I've gotten a few very generous and helpful responses, there are still some shows I was curious about. If anyone has any additional info, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
