It appears the 1st edition of 1000 ABB posters have sold out in only 5 shows! Yesterday (3/15) they were selling posters #'d in 1200-1400 range that must be part of a 2nd edition.

While the ones for sale yesterday were #'d they didn't have an ediition number like the 1st edition which was 1000 posters, for instance instead of say 1264/2500 it was just 1264.

Confirmed with Mike Dubois the artist, there's a 2nd edition of 1500 posters #'d from 1000-2500. The way it's #'d is really strange too as I mentioned in the previous post too.

Hopefully JB put some 1st edition posters aside for those online buyers who bought the 1st edition before it sold out. Those are the ones I would want. The description has now changed and doesn't say edition of 1000 either. If you purchase one now on HTN I would think you would get the 2nd edition.

Bummer, I was hoping to get one, frame it, and hang it beside the poster I got from last year's Crossroads.

I bet they put some aside, or shuffled them. I bought one for my son shortly after doors on opening night, 489/1000.

I love Mike's work, but I have always felt that his prints can sometimes look "pixelated", but the whole First edition, Second edition stuff is a bummer.

My first night was night 5 (3/14) and my poster is #1034? and to be honest, with the ammount of people I observed purchasing prints, to sell even a thousand of them in five shows is a pace not normally seen by this crowd IMO.

I am from CO and normally the Jeff Wood prints that I have (2009 & 2011?) didn't sell that fast and they were even more "detailed".

The only fair way to do it is to decide on the edition # and that's it. If that number is 1500, well you have approx. 100 per night for sale, don't diminish the value of the print by making it "more fair" by supplying more prints. And if you do do that, dont number ANY of them, cause what's the point?

One thing in life that is surely NOT fair, is the poster scene!! (For ANY band)

Correction, my sons poster is # 467/1000
We bought it about 7:15pm on March 7th.
They did not sell 466 posters in 15 minutes after doors.
Anybody tell me whats up with that?

I just looked at mine also. Bought almost immediately the first night after doors opened and I have # 408/1000

that's easy------they didnt start selling at #1......

it could be done a few ways.........

ive seen it where the number 1 print is at the bottom of the pile----as in, artist numbered them and just put in on a stack one after another.......

or they could have just grabbed a stack of them and that's the number where the pile started.....

or, they could have put some back for HTN and/or the band and/or VIP and those could have been low numbers....

What do the posters cost at the venue ? I already bought one from the HTN site for 30 + 6 shipping so I don't have to fool w/ flying it back to Gawga after our 3/22 show . Seeya there y'all !

Hittin' The Note gets the first 100 posters (they do that every year), then they have VIP packages that got #101-400

So the first day they went on sale in the merch booth, they were into the 400's already...

Are you saying HTN takes the first hundred for regular online sales?

Why in the world am I bringing a poster tube across the country, buying it at the show only to get a second edition??

So I guess if they sell "REAL GOOD" this week, we may see a 3rd or 4th edition??

I found it (AND 45th/Beacon tee's) in the merch., browse, new stuff .
Are they selling tee's at the show ? What prices ? $30-40 online + shipping.
See y'all Sat. day at BB's (hope it's better than previous reviews) and in the L LOGE for THE show !

any reason to wait and buy it at the show as opposed to just grabbing one now on HTN?

The merchandise booth at the shows is a nightmare. I'm so happy I bought my poster and tee shirt before I left.

The customer service is fine but the crowd is ridiculous.

thx. i'd rather spend the $6 on shipping instead of dealing with the hassle at the show and having to hold it all night.

Is it really the same poster though

No one ever really addressed exactly how many will be made in total, nor if the ones from HTN are of the first edition variety. I don't think we would have seen multiple editions if Jeff Wood had done this one......

If you ordered a poster from HTN you will not recive it until after the Beacon Run, Which in turn will be 2nd run posters.
