Is the Vic Theater a good place to see a show? Really interested in coming down to Chicago for that King Crimson reunion

I like it, but to my ears, the sound mix on the floor isn't as good as it used to be. It usually sounds better in the balcony these days.

It's an old theater. The floor (especially the lowest level) tends to be really packed (all standing room downstairs), and there is usually ample seating in the balcony.

Will a 6 foot 7 guy be able to sit comfortably in the balcony?

'moid is right about The Vic. You'll be fine Isaac. It's a cool building.

Still haven't seen anything about the show though.

There are some things I'm looking at:

Bluesfest/Taste of Randolph 6/13-6/15

Richard Thompson @ Millenium Park 6/16
Bob Mould @ Millenium Park 6/23
(may not be able to do Thompson, but think I can do Mould)

My hard drive crashed on my laptop. It would cost almost as much to have it fixed as it would be to get a new one so I went with the new one.

Thinking of BluesFest next weekend as well as Chris Robinson next Saturday night. Maybe Robert Randolph June 26th. There is a guy named Joe Pug playing one of those free Millenium Park shoes July 7th,

Going to see Styx, Foreigner and Don Felder of The Eagles this Friday.

They are playing KC on Sunday. The reviews have actually been really good. Tommy Shaw joins Felder at the end of Felder's set for Hotel California.

Makes sense if all thouse guys play well, though. Not like they are living the hard partying life of the 70s.

I love The Smoking Gun. This one is a little too descriptive, but amusing. The headline is priceless.

Is this wott kids are up to these days? Oh wait... I do remember the church bus could get a little steamy on youth trips.
