Drank a couple cans of PBR I found cleaning out my son's car the other day. Tasted pretty good. Been years since I had one. Not too bad.

Some point need to sync up on driving plans. We could follow the same plan we used for the Des Moines trip we took a couple years ago. I did book a room for myself at the American...whatever it was called that Chad recommended.

You could bunk with coot at the Gray Bar hotel

Well, the week didn't end any better ...... I lost my mom today.

She was the strongest person I know - she fought off 3 cancers over the years (vocal cords, melanoma, and bladder). She had her bladder out in 1996 - I was at the Mayo Clinic instead of seeing the ABB play 6 nights at the Riv. She had a great attitude and a great sense of humor. Her last 2-3 years have been tough, with dementia setting in.

Luckily, my whole family was there this afternoon when she passed. She was 82.

My dad is 85, and he is also very strong. He took care of her till the end. June would have been their 60th anniversary.

RIP Mom.
