I have an ORCH center seat in row J, 6 seats off of the aisle…I figure it's around 13 rows back…

…I'm relatively short…I was wondering if a vet of the shows would know if I would be comfortable there, or if I may be better off in lower balc, row B, aisle seat…I am going with my cousin, and he'll be in one seat, and I'll be in the other…

thanks for any advice...

The floor is sloped so you shouldn't have much of a problem. Then again I am only 5'8" and thought I was all set with a really good orch seat one year - then Bill Walton showed up and sat in front of me.

My suggestion would be the Lower Balc row B. Great view and Row A is almost certain to stay seated in front of you. You could always agree a switch at intermission if you want to try both.

It's hard to predict who will be sitting in front of you.
How tall are you?
I'm 5'9 and it's been ok. Sometimes you need to peek between heads.
Personally, I'd LOVE to sit in row J so if you decide to unload those tickets.... what night are they for?

i'm 5'9" as well…my concern is a SEA of heads and I won't be able to see the stage…

…any body ever sit first 15 rows or so and experience that?

I am also 5'9 and have sat all over the Beacon. I have found that you have better viewing angles form the left center and the right center.

In addition, as J is the 13th row you will also be subject to the dip in the orchestra that occurs after the 10th row. I don't know exactly where it is but I remember 10 as the point of the dip, then further back it comes back up. So if you are 6 seats inside the center section, right dead center, you could have an awfully hard time seeing the whole stage. There are always tall people ahead of you and 12 rows of them is not a good bet for you.

I would much recommend the Lower Balc row B aisle (!) seat. Aisle seats give you quick access to the bathrooms and drinks and exits.

Also, the view in the lower balcony is perfect. It also has the best sound in the theater.

I find the sound in the orchestra to be overly loud and muddy/fuzzy.

The Balcony is where its at. I always sit there and prefer the lower balcony to any orchestra seat.

Hope that helps.
