Pandora Premieres has the preview today .. http://www.pandora.com/station/play/1411412518987239135/7538771103455
I never heard of this Pandora feature before. Just another reason to love that site.

There are a few good rockers on this one ...

Unfortunally: "due to licensing constraints, we can no longer allow access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S., Australia and New Zealand." .

Looking forward to the new DBT!

The Truckers are touring now in support of this new release. They'll be at Toad's in New Haven, CT on 3/18 and at Terminal 5 in NYC on 3/19. I'll be seeing the Brothers at the Beacon on Fri., 3/7 and also going to the HTN party at BB King's and the Beacon on Sat., 3/15. On Mon., 3/17 it's Black 47 at BB's for their last St. Patrick's Day show (Larry Kirwan announced they're calling it quits after this year), then the Brothers again on Wed., 3/19 and DBT at Terminal 5 on Thurs., 3/20. On Sat., 3/22 it's Willie Nile at Mexicali Live, and we'll wrap the whole thing up with a bow on Sat., 3/29 with the final Brothers' show at the Beacon. WHEW!
God Bless March Music Madness in NYC!

I wish I could say this is a great album, but there are two things that hold it back.

1. Over the past couple of albums it seems that Patterson Hood had developed a slow plodding melancholy droning pattern in his songs. Most of them don't get out of second great. It's like they are waiting to rock but not getting there. Still good songs, but want another rocker or two from him on the album.

2. "Natural Light" and "First Air of Autumn" have this high pitched (intentional??) production glitch running through them that take away from two pretty good songs. I've read on their board that some people can hear them and some can't, but to me it's a huge distraction.
