If you haven't bought One Way Out yet but are going to, I'd really appreciate it if you could do it in the next few days. Sales through Saturday have special import. We are within striking range of doing something really cool that will bring a lot more attention to the book and the band we love.

Thank you to everyone who bought and especially those who have started reading and commenting. I've been too slammed to wade in there and answer much.

14 radio interviews each of the least three days and a launch party and I've lost most of my voice. Some of the interviews are really interesting and in-depth and some are, "so tell us about Cher." Most are in the middle, but when the interviewer is one of us it is immediately apparent and so much fun.

Look forward to discussing it with you all soon. Setting up a Reddit AMA... If anyone is fluent in that site, let me know.

Thanks again and I am especially appreciative of any buys over the next 2 days.

Just ordered yesterday through Hittin The Note website. Can't wait to get it! I'll encourage a few other folks I know who will be getting it.

Glad you are getting such good press for the book. It sounds like it is quite the keepsake for fans.

From a post you made I know we were sitting near each other at Gregg Tribute. Wish I had figured it out and introduced myself...and to say thanks for your coverage of the Allman Brothers band over the years!

I'll wait for the library to have it, or wait until it is very cheap on Amazon.

....Then wait until the book written about the burnt world hits the local library, or Amazon dollar rack, to read about it.

Thanks. I'm sure people will have some issues/complaints... whatever.. but definitely there has never been anything else like this... and very proud of the photos as well... about 150, most never seen or published... and St.martins came through with great printing and design.

Well, that's too bad! I was sitting coincidentally next to John Lyndon, which was really nice.

Thanks... Nope... the back to back to back radio interviews are tough on the voice though.

I really appreciate everyone's support and amtouched by how many want them signed. Every one of them ordered through tomorrow should be shipped by Monday.

I literally just now got the email that mine is shipping from Amazon. I'm a little disappointed, as I usually get stuff from Amazon on the day of release. Now I have to wait a whole week before I can start it. I can understand if I just ordered it a couple of days ago, but I ordered this thing in September. From the very link you provided here, Al.

Hmm. I have no idea if any of these interviews are online. Will try to figure that out. I know some are supposed to be but I barely know who I've spoken to or what's aired - a bunch have been taped.

Did a great one today with Eric A;per in Canada that will be a podcast and a good one on a Ruropean station that should be available... will search.

Here's some advance notice... On Tuesday @ 6 PM I'll be on one of the nation's great Public stations, WXPN Philly. You can listen live at www.xpn.org

Also, as you finish the book, really helpful if you can post a short review on amazon or BN and post wherever you post... Thanks.

Awesome work. Arrived Thursday, finished it this morning. Wrote quick reco on Amazon (No Brainer).
Literally couldn't/wouldn't put it down. Appropriate soundtrack on headphones adds another layer.
Appeasl to Peach heads and the casual listener.

Was Big in China picked up for a movie? Screenplay completed?
