This guy was able to jump on stage twice and kiss warren during the bowling green show last night. Both times, warren just smiled and kept playing. The second time, a sound tech and security guard took him off the stage. Apparently, he was arrested.

Does anyone remember when a lady walked on stage and tried to kiss warren during the govt mule set at Wanee?

I volunteer! Just on the cheek, however, I respect his (and my) marriage.

When I've done security, nobody has gotten onto the stage who didn't belong there. Especially from the audience. This is not acceptable.

Yep, he could have been some nut with a knife or gun.

the guy was obviously on drugs. Before he jumped on stage, he was roaming around the front. When security told him to move the first time, he would not move. He looked to be arguing with security. After he moved, he ran up to the front and jumped on stage. After the kiss, he jumped off the stage and went back to his seat After about five minutes, he walked back up to the stage and did the same thing. This time, a sound tech and then a security guard grab him and took him off stage.

The security should have been on their toes...not just hanging out listening to music and collecting a pay check. Have we forgotten Dimebag Darrell. I know different scene, but drugs plus stupid is a recipe for disaster.

Most people aren't creeps. Looks like there was a lot of love there in that photo. Alright #2 shoulda been prevented.

ANyway, the fans have rushed stages a ton. I recall a Dylan video where about 100 fans came up and shook his hand (when not playing) bowed in front of him, kissed him and hugged him. I couldn't find any videos of it, so here's a little write up. http://www.thesharkguys.com/lists/top-10-stage-rushes/

mulelouisville I posted your photo to my WH fan group on FB. If I must, I will take it down, but I think it is very sweet, so I wanted to share it. I hope you don't mind. A

To paraphrase the late, Mae West: "if you ain't in show business keep your boots off the stage!"

Seriously, cute or not - this was a distraction for the performer and the PAYING fans.

I worked security at the Palladium in NYC in the late 70's (I think this was the job that really taught me just how self-absorbed people can be). We had standing orders that no one was allowed near the stage and if they did rush it, or even worse made it up, they quickly left the building far worse off then when they came in to it. It seems a bit over the top, but when you realize the absolute disadvantage you have in a room with 4,000 people and 20-30 security guards to keep everyone in it safe, it makes more sense.

I was at the Queens of the Stone age show and someone jumped up and tried to give Josh Homme a hug. He grabbed them by the throat and threw him into the front row.

One of my all-time favorite concert memories is when I saw Hot Tuna and Weir & Wasserman play Great Woods in 1991 and for the Weir Wasserman encore, Bob Weir came out with NO guitar - just a mic and Wasserman on bass - and started "crooning" Misty. After everyone realized he was serious and this wasn't a joke (an intentional one on Bob's part anyway) a HUGE hairy biker climbed on the stage ran over to Bob and planted a big kiss on him right on the lips. He then turned to the crowd with his arm around Bob, gave a wave and took a bow. Two or three security guys quickly dragged him off and Wasserman, though having a good long laugh, kept playing. Weir just stood there staring at the floor for a while looking dejected while Wasserman played on. I WISH I had a video of this. The funniest thing I have ever seen in concert.
