Just curious - I'm completely digging the 2001 Warren, Matt, Chuck, Dave line-up right now.

I thought the line-up with Oteil & Chuck were smokin'! I really got into the George Porter Jr. & Danny Louis line-up too!

After the Trio, I liked the shows with Chuck and Oteil best.
Chuck was really great on those shows.

Then Danny and Andy. Seen them Three times now. The Reborn Mule
is Kickin'

Chuck and Dave were pretty good. I didn't think Dave's playing
With Mule was as adventurous as his WP stuff. Chuck
was pretty good at that show also.

George Porter and Danny were good, but the sound was not as good.
It was in Downtown DC and the sound was bouncing of
the Gov't Buildings. It was a funky Mule.

I've heard good things about the Matt/Warren Acoustic shows
opening for Ben Harper, but I've not heard them yet. I missed
the show at the 930 club because of a conflict.

Peace
John

The versions with Schools and Oteil with Chuck were great, but after last weeks show in Tallahassee I feel like this version has direction. The rhythm section is clearly hittin' on all cylinders and is reminiscent of the trio. I think the permanent nature provides Warren the security to explore more.

I enjoy whoever is with them. I'm just glad they kept going after Woody's passing.

Old Time Fan, I was about to say the same thing "I like Chuck with anyone at anytime". Therefore I loved the Chuck/Oteil lineup. (I didn't see them with Chuck/Dave). I also enjoyed George Porter Jr. A LOT (with Danny Louis of course). I like Danny and I'm happy that they finally settled into something.

I love this new version of the mule because they're a band again. This means that they can vary the setlist a lot, they can come out with new stuff, and they can really explore. I was at the very first show with Andy in Philly and they had already started trying new things, going to different places. Warren's really excited about it, and so am I!
