Hello from behind the Pine Cone Curtain in deep east Texas!

I'm Melissa, a long time fan who first saw the ABB in Houston in 1974. It was a beautiful thing! An unknown band called The Eagles opened. I've seen the band (and the brother bands) several times since. Many good times on the way to where I am today!

I just read Gregg's bio, and I'll be seeing him in Shreveport next weekend!

It's good to be here....

Melissa

Hello everyone!
I grew up in Jacksonville , Fla. I graduated in 1969. While in high school I followed and hung out around the Second Coming (. Well, I was the invisible kid in the corner.) I was in their house in Riverside when Gregg and Duane made one of their first trips up here. I sat many nights listening to Dickie, Gregg, Duane,& Barry picking with the rest of the room playing percussion with anything we could get our hands on, following John Meeks.
Blessed to have watched the whole deal morph at "Be Ins," and jams all over town culminating with weekly gigs in Jax Bch, Cowboy opening...This all before the move to Macon.
My. Wife an I were reintroduced to the band through our friends at "Helen's Hilton." & have made as many shows as we could the past 5 years
Hope to meet some of you guys in New York, Penn or at Wannee this year . We have met so many already.
I'm happy to be back and feel that it's about time I found myself here.
Mike Ferrara
