that is tame compared to the time she shared a stage with two of the all time greats and seemed to be trying out for a part in cats

What the hell was that? ..

My dog started howling, then started whimpering for me to turn it off...

I liked Letterman's quip afterwards, "It's fun when you leave the theater humming the music from the show, isn't it?"

Yup....

Also the person in the black bag...bagism revisited...

Yoko does look darn good for an 80 year old...

And her voice is pretty much as cringeworthy as it was all those years ago...

The lyrics are the same too....

But contrary to the bs out there, she didn't break up The Beatles....

I'm perplexed. When we had tea, she sang that Minnie Ripperton song Loving You perfectly.

I was always amused by the similar characterization of Yoko's appearances in these 2 releases:

The Rolling Stones - Rock 'N Roll Circus: "A Whole Lotta Yoko"
Frank Zappa and the Mothers - Playground Psychotics: "A Small Eternity with Yoko Ono"

The perfect line that expressed exactly what I was feeling at that moment...pure Letterman ...

O NO!

I will give her that...

And I must say that a friend of mine was visiting New York from the UK with his young son a few years ago, and they met her taking a walk in Central Park.

He apologized for bothering her but said as a fan of her late husband's work, he just wanted to say hello.

He said she couldn't have been nicer or more gracious and that she really fawned over his son.

I saw this when it aired... and I have to say the sad thing is I sat through the whole song. I couldn't stop watching... which is more than I can say for most of the artists I see on these shows.

Although I do have to say that I was laughing through the majority of it.
