Disappointed no Ithaca show this year.

Got to be a Fall tradition.

Does Ron Holloway make a living sitting in with Gov't Mule?

I was listening to some Gil Scott Heron the other day and to my delight he introduced Ron Holloway on saxophone.

I bet that guy has some stories. I'd buy his book.

The only two BBQ places in Austin that come to mind are Stubb's and The Salt Lick.

Guess Warren found some good BBQ while he was recording at Willie's place.

Great show; I went to it. The encore was fantastic with Hook Herrara sitting in on Grinnin in Your Face>Mother Earth> How Many More Years.

Also, there was a MT. Jam in the middle of Game Face. I also loved the new stuff. World Boss is great. Time to Confess and Brand new Angel are also two of my favorite Mule tunes. Was happy to hear those.

That's awesome that Jim McCarty sat in. Being from Detroit, I know a lot about him and have seen him several times in small blues clubs. He has played with everyone under the sun, including Jimi Hendrix. There was a band from the 70s he fronted called The Rockets that were awesome. I've never been able to find a CD of their few releases. Great guy too.
