7/30/00 Toronto, Molson Amphitheatre

Warren Haynes, Allen Woody and Matt Abts sit in for the first time since Warren and Woody leave the band. Smokin' night...amazing music, love and energy on stage that night. The show includes my favourite Warren Dreams solo.

hey, how did ya come up with THAT one !? I was just listening to it today (recently offered a BnP of it) Anybody want it, I'll BnP (ABB 7/30/00) ... PM me or email ... it's a fkin smokin' show. (I'll include 7/22/00 and 6/28/00 as options). They're all killer, Jimmy/Derek era.

I should add, for the ABB collection, the Instant Live shows from Charlotte and Raleigh '03 are simply off the friggin' hook ------ Combination of sublime playing (and special guests) and killer recordings.

Well Rob, I'll tell you how I came up with that one: I've been listening to it for the past 45 minutes {woo hoo} because I LOVE THAT SHOW!! It was a special night and I wanted to revisit the evening.

Just noticed however that High Falls {last track disc 1} cuts off abruptly at 12:51. Is it just me or is it a general recording problem for that show?

i'll let ya know in a jiffy what my copy does ... haha, High Falls, I was on the porch during that song which is a whole different thread that I didn't get to yet !

my copy has a complete High Falls (track one on disc two) ... and it just keeps on a'ragin' after 12:51 (Jimmy's solo for pete's sake) full song is 16:45

Thanks for checking for me Rob. Yeah, bummer for me...right in the middle of Jimmy's smokin' solo. I guess someone was trying to put too much on one cd

Thanks again Rob...above and beyond the call of duty!

4/22/95 the show in circulation is A- at best but is the only show I know of that Gregg sang Worried Down With the Blues and a 34 minute Liz Reed.
Any show from the first week of May 96
3/3/93 Boston, Ma
And most shows from late in the 2000 tour with Derek & Jimmy

Jimmy - I hear you: 12/31/70! 12/31/70! 12/31/70! 12/31/70! 12/31/70!!!!

Also worthy of note -
5/2/70 (as unusual a setlist as you'll find with the original Brothers)
2/11-13/70 (a great glimpse of some v. early performances in superb sound)
7/26/70 (the first known Dark Star tease - less than a minute - inside of M.Jam)
3/20/71 (3 hours at the Warehouse!)
9/16/71 (no comment necessary...)

That will do for starters, I reckon.

Love these kinds of discussions. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but some things really stand out. I'll cover a few not mentioned.
9-3-95 Polaris Columbus The boys did the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame show in Cleveland the night before, but only got a half-hour set. So, going into this one they were both inspired and kind of pent-up. All-time versions of all the jam tunes, except Post, which was still great.
Aug96 Greek Theater LA think it's the 29th
Aug94 Great Woods, now Tweeter Boston. The night show after playing at Woodstock that afternoon. The improvs were soooo twisted.l
