in England in November. Along w Cody Dickinson and Lightnin' Malcolm.

Saw Siegal tonight in Bham - just a fabulous show. I asked him how familiar/popular the Allmans were in England, and he said very, mostly because of Duane & Eric. Then he mentioned Duane Betts. He seemed very excited.

Here is a promo for the tour:

Thanks for the heads-up!

I'm not sure where to start with this really....

It seems the idea of the original North Mississippi Mudbloods - Siegal, L & C Dickinson, Alvin Youngblood Hart - has quickly converted into being a backing band for Siegal and with varying personnel apparently.

Ian Siegal is great in his own right but this seemed to be a different venture which has mutated into "just more Siegal". Which is a shame as the concept - if not the reality - of the NMMs was an interesting one.

As for Bishops Stortford, Derby, Gloucester and Carlisle being a UK tour....!!!!! No offence to those places and great that good music is spread around the provinces but young Duane is likely to be underwhelmed.

I'd like to have caught this "tour" but that's not going to be possible.
