I drove home last night, and I deny everything.

I can confirm there were no arrests, but Sang and Chitown were near an unknown unruly fan last night who might not be so lucky.

From the looks of each night's setlist, Lee didn't have to spend too much money.

Alan - please post in my Charlotte thread in the AG. I'm sure once your name is added to the list of attendees many more will want to come.

Lots of beer, lots of transcendent music over the last few days!

Gregg sounded great, the band was in fine ensemble form, and we had lots of time to visit with our Chicago regulars and so many others we don't get to see as often.

I wish we could do it again next week!

I echo all of this. Had a ball this weekend. Well, it felt like a weekend

Two great concerts, a ton of great people and perhaps several tons of beer...fantastic time!

I had the best seat in the house during the pre-show tune up...holy crackers, I could go there every day of the week and twice on Wednesday...

As far as the shows, I'd give a slight nod to the first night. I think I liked the set and the vibe a bit more than night two. It was great to hear that Pickett tune on night one - Gregg sounded SOOOOO damn good on that tune. It may not come across very well on YouTube...but, damn, they all sounded good on that song.

As far as night 2, it was another winner for sure...very bluesy. Big fight between a dude and two security types right next to sang. Security was pounding this dude into the ground but he kept fighting. Not sure what sang did to get that thing started but it lasted through much of Dreams and it sorta took the vibe out of the song, sadly...

Anyway, awesome couple of nights. It was good to see everyone. And Lee thanks for the place to sleep!
