Well, EC is starting his Albert Hall run tonight. He's doing 7 nights total, sure wish I could be there to see them. Chuckels said on this site a few months ago that there was talk that Clapton's gonna have special guests at these shows and record them for a live album. I hope this happens!

I just got back from opening night at the Royal Albert Hall ... excellent show ... no special guests but no need for them either ... Doyle was on great form ... as were all of the band ...

The rhythm section of Steve Jordan/Willie Weeks, just kicks a$$. I believe they inspire Clapton to play the best he has in years.

Took a family vacation to the British Isles almost 4 years ago now, and my youngest son and I went to see EC the very night we arrived in England. A real treat, and what a great place to see Eric Clapton, of all people.
