My highlights were Eric's opening set, Booker T & Steve Cropper, Buddy Guy & the ABB. Great beginning and a fantastic ending

Thanx For Posting!
I Think The Opening Clapton Song Was Called "DRIFTING" The One That Andy Fairweather Sang Was Something Like "Insanity Blues" Or Something
Also, Vince Gill On Lay Down Sally The ABB Did "The Other One Jam" After Black Hearted Woman, If That Counts As A Song LOL!! I Wish The ABB Got More Time And Clapton Played More Songs With Them! I thought It Was Gonna Be More Like When Clapton Played With Them At The Beacon! I Was Lucky Enough To Be There The 2nd Nite!!

Did clapton walk from 1 side of the stage 2 the other give a peace sign and leave? Did the ABB play for 45 minutes? Over hyped over priced show. I wasn't there but sittin' in means playin' more than 1 song, sorry. Remember 2009 @ the Beacon when he shredded Liz Reed. Maybe it is time for him to stop playin live.

Too bad that Clapton only sat in on one ABB song and that Derek didn't guest on the Clapton set.

And why on earth did Citizen Dope return?

But still lot's of cool songs played and nice set-ins so i'm still looking forward to another Crossroads Festival DVD release.

don't forget Albert Lee

Buddy and Quinn were on fire!
surprises for me were :My first hearing Keith Urban's great playing , finally understanding why folks dig Doyle ( very psychedelic at times), Mayer's trippy playing , Clark,Jr.'s resonator with drums and B.B. doing more playing and less talking than he's done the last 10 times I've seen him ( sounds and looks great)
I am not at all a Clapton fan and could not imagine an indoor Crossroads fest so I was not expecting a great night .Really wonderful concert! Can' t imagine how tonight can compete but I'm going with an optimistic attitude.
As an aside, I appreciated the lack of an intermission after working all day and hustling to get there , long intermissions can be rough for Friday night concerts.

I take it that you haven't seen any of the Crossroads shows before. No band plays a full set. If the ABB played 45 minutes, that is longer than most have gotten at any of the 4 Crossroads shows. The show is 7:30 until midnight with dozens of other artists playing, you aren't going to get 2 hour sets.

As for over priced, the money isn't going to the artists pockets, it's a charity event.

You may want to get some facts before posting clueless comments. Clapton was involved with many guests all night long. The ABB played maybe 30 minutes with EC on one tune. Some bands played short sets others pollinated other groups. It was a great mix of some guests sitting in on other bands short sets; most played for 20 minutes or so, Robert Cray Band, Buddy Guy, Booker T and the MGs, etc all played shortened sets. Most of the money goes to Claptons Crossroads drug rehab center. The tickets arent cheap but the house looked almost full to me. I am going again tonight!

No way was this ticket overpriced, Great show and so many players that I've never seen and it's for charity to boot.

Totally agree. Artists don't make a penny, all profits to charity.
