I think I'm forgetting a tune, but -
2
Statesboro Blues
You Don't Love Me
Rocking Horse
Standback
BHW> TOO jam
Liz Reed (Bill Evans), JaMaBuBu

E
Southbound

Rocking Horse, BHW, and Liz Reed all had insane jams. Bill Evans fit in great as usual.

I was at Wednesday, Friday, and tonight. A perfect run for me. Each show brought something different, and the repeat tunes were played / jammed differently. I really wanted to see the jukes and Bill Evans, and I did.
If someone from the band was monitoring this site and read my posts, - a huge thanks!!

A tired but happy stormyrider and wife will be driving home tomorrow.

This was my 4th show of the run and LOVED it. Bill Evans was, as always, a superb performer. When they started IMOLR, the entire section of orchestra went wild. No one was let down. What a great, great show.

Glad to see so many satisfied posts.

Recent years I've feared 'this will be the year I'm disappointed'. Judging by setlists and feedback thus far, ain't happening this year neither. See y'all on Tuesday.

Got it

Maybe you and I will get a nice surprise and Evans will show up tonight (I believe he is off

Whatever they do, I will head home VERY happy after that show

Wish I was going; not till next Sunday.

But there definitely has to be a non-traditional theme tonight (meaningSaturday). Liz Reed with Evans - that would be heaven

Yeah noticed that myself....one thing that Derek seems to do more now than ever before is play facing off stage and Warren played with his back to the audience more than usual.

Not complaints because it did not affect the playing, just an observation

Last night derek was in the zone ,very serious. Didn't crack a smile until late into the 2nd set.
The boys played their asses off last night. This show was one of the greats.

I was sitting right behind the lighting board and Set two was supposed to start with All My Friends. Swapped it out for States.Blues. Also Tommy Talton was listed as a guest for the first two songs of the second set. Great show. Friday night blew my mind, though.

I asked my wife if she secretly contacted Warren before the run and told him how to arrange things

I think from now on though, Warren should consult with you and I before the shows we attend. Sounds like we think along the same lines.

Sounds good to me. I missed last night, but the gods have been kind the last few years. Saw Clapton and the 4oth Anniversary show (though regret missing Brecker, Stanley Clark; et al on fusion night) Saw Evans twice with the Bros (once at the Hep-C benefit) and Sco a few years back. I'll see what Sunday brings.
