Anyone know where I can get high quality versions of the logo or how to request them? I can't find anything on the site about it.

Ahem...

Thanks for asking so nicely...however, the issue is that those logos are copyrighted and are not to be used without the express written consent of the Allman Brothers Band.

I'm sure on Ebay there are vendors who sell logos as stickers!
Also at ABB concerts

There's usually a very nice one at the back of the stage in the Beacon Theater.

Thanks for your answers. I am not trying to steal them. I am just trying to figure out where I can write in a request!

Also, if I'm reading it correctly, the logos can be downloaded once for personal use. That is all I intend to use it for anyway.

Unfortunately, with the advent of the internet, copyright protection seems to be gone with the wind. We could, and have, spent full days combating the piracy that goes on everyday at E-bay. People rip off the ABB all the time. Piracy has already driven many independent film makers out of business. It will eventually kill the ABB Live CDs. Piracy was one of the main reasons mentioned by Steve Rash as to why the 1970 2nd Atlant Pop Festival (with the ABB) will never make it to DVD.

You were very kind to ask for permission and for a contact. The ABB Management has too much on their plate to respond to this so I'm guessing it would be me you would ask. I am not familiar with a one time personal use exemption and would welcome being educated on that. It seems that everyone could claim that and royualties would never be paid?

Hey now, Joe Bell - Agree with your sentiments and everything you said in your first paragraph. As for the second paragraph, I believe the OP is referring to the disclaimer at the bottom of all the HTW (w/ the ABB) web-pages (with white text in garnet background) that nobody ever reads. Not really sure what that's all even about. You can download one copy, but cannot reproduce it. Huh? I figure that was added to "allow" registered users to d/l the logo, etc. to print up some CD sleeves for their amateur hobbyist tapers' recordings, but then they can't print it off???? (A bit contradictory in intent, although I get the prohibition on distribution and reserving the ownership rights to ABB Merchandising Co., Inc., but just not the rest of it.)

Hope all is well in HTN-land. Beacon-on, my friend....

I was going to point to the fine print on the botom of the page earlier today but figured someone else would eventually. Depending on the theme you choose there are logos, peach trucks, mushrooms and various pictures all over this site that one COULD easily copy with the right click manuever.

I always assumed they were saying do it once for you own personal use, don't share it or make copies for bootlegs you are selling on ebay..i.e use it for your own collection but don't abuse it or try to profit from it.

Cool, thanks. I love it when I learn, or re-learn, something new. I remember reading the "fine print" a long time ago but had forgotten about it...

I wonder how many people with stacked logo, peach truck, mushroom tattoos got the band
management's permission?

Props to rcrivolio for asking about the proper way to aquire legitimate copies of logos. Most people wouldn't ask. Well done.

Would this apply to the EAP-era logo, as well?
