Someone just offered me an orchestra ticket with an obstructed view for 3/17. Anyone know anything about these seats? They still cost the same.

The only obstructed views I'm aware of are when the person in front of you is standing. Sounds like a scam to me.

this view at the beacon usually means that it is next to or behind the soundboard

It is legit as it is behind the soundboard. Anyone have these seats before and have any thoughts on them?

The seats behind the soundboard aren't bad. Everybody's standing anyway.

I've purposely chosen these tix on numerous occasions...Orchestra, pretty much Center or near-Center. As previously stated, the only obstruction is usually the guy/gal standing up in front of you. Don't worry about buying these tix if the $ is right. Good luck and enjoy the show!

I had obstructed view seats at the beacon last year and didn't even notice. Once the show starts, everyone stands and it blocks the light from the mixing board. They are in a good spot, especially for sound.
