I think it might be that there are only a dozen of us left here.

Remember how hard it was to even log in on this site at Beacon Time. Facebook is evil and causes genital herpes.

Have fun everyone! Look forward to some reviews. I have a gut feeling that it will be one of the best opening nights of all Beacon runs.

Yahoo!!!

Going 3/16, so I still got a couple weeks. 5th consecutive year I've travelled from DEE-troit for the run (helps that I have a buddy who lives there).

Couldn't be more excited. Nothing better than Spring time on the horizon, the weather (hopefully) turning, March Madness, opening day and the Masters only a month away, and of course, the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND at the Beacon.

All I want this year is Stormy Monday - never seen it live - 3/16 - please make it happen!!!

The fact that there is no Moogis is taking away some of the excitement - even though I haven't been to the Beacon for a few years, I was still charged up to watch it live in the comfort of my own living room.

My wife is probably happy that I won't be spending 11 nights taking over the TV and blasting the ABB while chatting with people at the same time.....

Although she is getting a trip to NY out of it this year...........

Sitting at my desk here at 42nd st. & 3rd ave. in NYC just watching the clock. Can't wait. Always get chills when those lights go out and the roar goes up from the crowd. I don't think we will be disappointed with this run.

I went to the Beacon from 1999-2009 and there is nothing like that excitement. I saw some amazing shows and had amazing times at the Beacon Hotel + local establishments like the P&G, Gin Mill, Yogi's + great trips to Central Park + shopping at the Fairway + loads more. Nothing like the Upper West Side when the ABB are camped for weeks.

I was really hoping some business training/trip would have landed me in NYC over the next couple weeks but it's not in the cards. I think this is going to be a special run. Gregg's comeback is quite the rebound over the last 9-12 months. I think they are going to hit on 2009 or 2005 or 2003 type cylinders over these 11 shows.

Arrive inside around 8pm, get your drinks, walk around, soak it in, and get settled. And prepare to have a blast!

With no Moogis, more of us will be lurking here to get the updates, just like the good old days.

Thought it was pretty cool that Derek and Warren went to the Who and Elvis Costello benefit show at MSG theatre last night. Get themselves in the mood for some musical fun of their own.

Agreed..

I miss moogis this year.

I've seen in Phil's web site links fans have created to sound and video for Furthur concerts that are excellent.wish that was possible.

Also,a friend called me looking for 2 tix(only balcony)--told me no tix...is that true?

Thanks.

All you Beaconers have a great time. I've been there the last three years but couldn't make it happen this year, so be my surrogate and party like you mean it. I'll be at Bockfest in Cincinnati tonight but rest assured we will have the ABB on the car stereo coming and going!

WE WILL DEFINITELY NEED POSTS DURING SHOW TONIGHT IF POSSIBLE. My goal is to meet 5 new ABB friends at the Amsterdam this year. Will be there on the 15th and 16th. Kiss the Blues Goodbye.
