Just make sure you have your bear spray.

Thanks Sio. I will take note of it. Mostly they warned me about ticks and bugs of all kinds in the pine barrens. No mention of bears or snakes.

I aint scared of no bear.

Snakes on the other hand...

That Les autograph looks mighty suspicious....

Don't know how many of you knew her, but Jodie Gooch passed away this morning. She was a volunteer at the Big House and a board member of GABBA. And, quite young.

Happy Tuesday, MT people! Will spring ever come for Middle Earth? I'm done with snow (please).

Speaking of Middle Earth... just received an announcement ...
Boz Scaggs at Uptown Theater on July 25th ... Tickets on sale now
(great place for a show as many of you know )

What Sio said ... good luck on that job hunt Lono. I have threatened to walk on this job a few times in the past few weeks but I guess I should just be happy to have it and place sanity on a back burner temporarily.

Speaking of sanity... My sisters car broke down recently and I took her out shopping for a gently-used-new-to-her one. And the salesman at the dealership where she ended up buying her car had a meltdown during the transaction. For the entire couple of hours it took us to get through the test drive and make the deal and get out of there. Let's see ... he went from talking about Thai sticks to sobbing over the 'cute little bee' in the Honey Nut Cheerios commercial to offering us Xanax (yep, reached inside his desk drawer and pulled a handful out and placed them on his desk ... he actually had a little spot in his desk tray for storing these). Many of you have met my sister, Kim. We just kept looking at each other in disbelief while trying to figure out why he was offering us Xanax and Thai bud (I mean ... really? Is there something obvious about us?!?!?! ) I was able to restrain myself (barely) from spitting water over the desk when the Honey Nut Cheerio bee thing went down but the whole thing made me think. Maybe workplace meltdowns are no longer really the exception. Don't know... but I did take an extra copy of his business card because it contained a picture and I'll be keeping my eyes on the news - just in case that face shows up there ('Used Car Salesman Goes Postal' - story at 6:00)

I saw BDOB's post on FB. What happened? I've never met her but know she was active in GABBA and a regular Wanee attendee. She seems too young to have this be part of her story...

Probably so. Blonde, attractive lady. She was really sweet, too.

Deb - you and Kim may resemble Hippie Chicks. I don't know. I'm not a very good judge of that, since I may also resemble a Hippie Chick. Peace & love to you & Kim.

Hello Miss Kitty, Hippie Chick! Peace and Love to you, also. Sorry to read you've been suffering mouth/tooth pain But glad to hear they've at least got it diagnosed, now, and were able to treat it. No More Pain! (I know a used car salesman who has 'scirpts for benzos should anxiety ever be a problem. Just sayin' ... )
