A shot in the neck? Jeez, if I were Kitty I would still be passed out.

Finally back at work today. I've had 10 days of sheer hell. Thanks to everyone who sent good vibes. I need them! I don't know if this will be a recurring problem or not. Arthritis never goes away. In this case my joints swelled enough to pinch the nerves. Now that the are settled down I could be fine for a long period of time. Sang - sorry about your racquetball arm. I have bone spurs all over my back, so I understand. Yes, I'm on an NSAID, twice a day along with nerve pain meds and regular pain meds.

There were 2 epidurals (nerve root blocks) in the side of my neck, not in the spine this time. And yes, it hurt more than a spinal epidural. It especially hurts once the numbing medicine wears off. First a shot with numbing medicine, then a tiny speculum is inserted and they crank a space open just large enough for him to stick a tiny needle in and deliver the medicine, then wash, rinse, repeat for 2nd spot. And yeah, you can hear them cranking the thing open and the swish of the medicine into your nerve because it's right below your ear. Not pleasant, but as usual I was applauded by the nurses for not moving, not crying and not gasping or swearing at anyone.

Nothing to do this past weekend, and I am on storm duty so no drinking, so I updated my database of cd's and music videos. It took hours over the 2 days..........

I eventually need to get to all the burned shows I have received - I'm a few years behind on them, too..............

It usually works OK for mild arthritis. Hope it helps you. I'm past the biofreeze phase.

IP - have you listened to the Crowes show that you posted a link to?

I'm real interested in how Jackie Green fits in.

Nice setlist.

Here is a youtube of Winwood and Capaldi from Woodstock '94. That would be Randall Bramblett on sax. I have met him a couple times in Macon.

Nope, for that we'd be super-rich.

All I could find was Pearly Queen on Crowesbase. And that was all in '06.
