Lunch time!

How's it going fellas?

I drank wayyyy to much this weekend. Saturday at the bar i found out the hard way that you should not ask a bartender for an Irish Car Bomb especially if he's irish....

Drank again Sunday (Found some tasty beers doing a taste test). Guinness Foreign Extras was so good. Also enjoyed the Manger's Irish Cider beer. Couldn't get enough of it.

Just received an email from UPS.

Looks like HTN will get my Skydog box to me my Thursday.

Looks like I will be a satisfied HTN customer this time around.

Hey Moid. Glad to hear of your e-mail from HTN. I haven't gotten squat from them as far as shipping info and CC has been charged and gotten an e-mail receipt from them.

I really like Joe, but sometimes ordering something from HTN is a leap of faith.

I wish they would change their tactics to charging your CC when your order is shipped instead of doing it before so you know whether you're getting it or not.

I have it from a solid source that Citizen Cope will be opening for Hillbilly Alan & The Fabulous Goat Fu-kers at Red Rocks.

Book it. Solid. Also have good word that they're gonna let DanB run the Maker's Mark stand.

That will be watered down MM for sure.

Ratdog? I dunno, that's a WTF, too. I've seen them when it was just unbearable, and then the time at RR was a decent show.

I ate a good amount of cabbage on Sunday.

The resulting odiferous emissions weren't what I'd quite call cosmic...

Weir plays the damn songs too slow and all versions of Ratdog I've seen never had the right guitarist on stage. No one can replace Garcia, but the guitar presence needs to be huge. None of the guys Weir has hired has fit the bill.

The Mule and The Black Crowes are coming to KC within a month of each other. Mrs. Bhawk might even let me swing both.

Two great venues for each, too.

She wouldn't let me swing an out of town trip, though.

Wives. Sheesh.

Tell her you want to see an old bud from the hills of TN for spiritual guidance.

I checked and round-trip to DEN is $350. And since the hotel isn't $300 a night (like NYC), I could go for a Red Rocks excursion.

We'll see...

I'm thinking I will try to make the Hoopee Jam, too, but it is awfully close to Wanee.

She won't let me go up to Chicago, but if the ABB does RR she'll want to come with me!

The chances of that are higher than a ABB show at Pine Knob

Speaking of getting old....

My stomach has been focked for awhile.

Just had a:

Ultrasound....no problem found

colonoscopy....no problem found

endoscopy....no problem found

$7500 doctor bill for the above....problem found with healthcare system

Tom, I have had the above tests with no diagnosis. It could be IBS but doctors dont tell you a dam thing. But they do prescribe some meds for it. I take probiotics. Florastor is the most important for me. It really helps. I also take Culturelle. I have a swig of unpasturized vinegar in the am. That will wake you up! It is highly recommende by the natural medicine people. I hope you find something to get relief from it.

But my insurance covered all tests and doctors.
I think natural medicine may be the answer for me.

You may like to try Mercola.com, bodyecology.com and drweil.com. Some of their ideas are too far out there for me. But they do have good information.

I am going to take up juicing soon. It has worked wonders for my friends.
Good luck!
I have done a lot of research on my own.

RATDOG SUCKS!!!!! To paraphrase Zappa from "Road Ladies," "and the band played some of the horriblest **** you ever heard." Just a horrible band.

In doing some research Further dates are listed for the last two days in September and October 1 at RR. I don't see how that would involve the ABB. And, good luck with dates that late, I remember freezin' my ass off at RR in early September let alone early October.
