Hey DanB!

For some reason....I thought of you when I heard Maker's Mark was going to dilute their whiskey because of limited supply and strong demand. Now they claim due to the public backlash they received they are going to scratch that idea. Hence the following link:

I say BS!, I think wott really happened is Chief Operating Officer Rob Samuels cut some kind of back office deal with you.

it's amazing wott someone will do when threatened to be bashed over the head with a bottle of Knob Creek

watched a recent 40 min interview with roger Daltry and Pete Townshend when
they were about to announce the Quadrophenia tour

Very interesting. You get the opinion from the recent documentary of the album
that they can't get along, but here they are laughing and giggling and teasing each
other like nothing. Townshend is still **** in out there especially with his verbosity

other interesting thing to come out when asked about new material was Daltry saying
anything Pete writes and he sings will always be The Who, at least as far as he is concerned

Prolly 15 or so years ago I saw Roger Daltry. He was doing this thing with a symphony. Played a lot of Who and Led Zep stuff. It was cool as hell. He must have paid a fortune to have 100 people playing in the symphony. Only time I saw him. Great show.

Listening to Mad Dogs and Englishmen.

Leon Russell is just **** ing awesome.

LOVE LEON! I have the Mad Dogs & Englishmen dvd as well as the cd. I also have several of Leon's albums. And who can forget his performance on the Concert for Bangladesh? IMHO he stole the show hands down.

Can't remember, did I send you a Leon dvd from Tokyo? It was maybe '09. Masahiko sent it to me.

I'll have to check, but I think you did. I know I have one that isn't too old and he was a bit feeble. So glad he's doing better. He was great when we saw him in Lincoln. An excellent time was had with some great Peachy People.

Yeah, his pretty feeble in the Tokyo one. I have another of Leon & The Shelter People from '71.

Woods, you interested in either of those? Also, have a Janis Joplin on the Dick Cavett show if you're interested.

Is Leon and the Shelter people the one with Sweet Emily dancing around? I think that one also has Claudia Lennear on it.

I didn't know there was a Mad Dogs dvd.

Is the Shelter People the one that has that bigger women with a rolling pin or something like that, filmed for PBS to? Used to have that one but lost it or something. Would love some Leon if you don't mind

That big womAn was Sweet Emily. She died recently.
