Do you purchase soundboards of shows that you have not gone too? I don't mean the box sets, just a single soundboard. I like having shows that I have been too, but I was just curiuos if people buy shows that they never went too?

I was just listening to this show from 2007 in Pittsburgh and it got me wondering about it.

1. Les Brers In A Minor
2. I Walk On Gilded Splinters
3. Midnight Rider
4. Rocking Horse
5. Desdemona w/ Kenny Brooks, Sax
6. You Don't Love Me
7. Anyday w/Susan Tedeschi & Oteil vocals
8. Lost Lover Blues w/ Susan Tedeschi, vocals & guitar
9. Mountain Jam
10. Jabuma
11. Mountain Jam reprise
12. Melissa
encore
13. One Way Out

The 2 shows that Clapton sat in with the ABB at the Beacon were the last ones I bought that I didn't go to.

I downloaded them from Munckmusic because it's less expensive than the other option.

Other than being there, nothing beats an SB. Love the audio quality. It's the real deal.

I have purchased upwards of 50 Mule soundboards and 60 or more ABB soundboards. I was only at 8 of the Mule shows that I have bought, and will buy many more. I now tend to play more SBDs and Aud recordings than studio material.

A few months ago I downloaded from Munckmusic the 3/20/09 Beacon ABB show with Clapton after watching some neat videos on You Tube. I also have purchased the 2007 New Orleans Jazz Fest ABB set, and the last show of last year's Beacon run when Gregg was to ill to perform. Like Peach Head I find myself listening to live recordings much more than studio material.

I too got the Gregg-less Beacon show from last yr, and one other. Unless the shows I attend are superb, I do not get them. I get the ones w/ great setlists or reviews, as my presence does not make the listening any better.

I must just get lucky on the shows that I have attendended that they were that good

I had thought about that Beacon show from last year, I might have to pick that one up.

The Clapton shows have to be their highest sales, at least I would guess they would be the most sold soundboards that they have done.

I have all of the soundboards from 2003-2006, plus most of 2007 and half of everything since then. Yes I may have a problem... I'd probably fill in all the gaps I could if money & time were not an issue.

I've got others, but definitely listen more to the ones I see.

the boston shows this summer were both fantastic - only caught the first - but their sound quality is also excellent, something I think the sbd series has gotten better at over its lifetime.

I'm from Europe so i can only buy soundboards from shows i haven't been too...... . The ABB never gave a rat's ass about the European market.

The only change of buying a soundboard from an ABB show i actually seen myself was their 2008 Christmas Jam show. It was one of the few shows they recorded which wasn't sold seperately . It was only available as a bonus disc in the 2009 Beacon Run boxset which i can't afford. Which was a major bummer.
