I know this topic has been discussed before but I have been listening to a lot of Bob Seger lately and "Live Bullet" is my favorite live album of all time. I need to get it on vinyl.

I agree Lee, "Nutbush City Limits," "Travelin' Man" into "Beautiful Loser" is great, may be the best first 3 songs ever on a live album. and "I've Been Working" is my favorite cut on there, Alto Reed smokes on the sax on that one, straight rock/funk. Then slow it down with "Turn The Page," nice!

Tom Waits Nighthawks at the Diner is a favorite of mine but it's only "sort of" a live album. I guess you'd call it a live studio album. Anyway, it's great.

(I'm assuming LAFE is understood to be the best ever live album)

Live at Cook County Jail is B.B. King. Good choice though.

Zephyr: Live at Art's Bar & Grill

Tommy Bolin and Friends: Live at Ebbets Field 1974

Big Star: Live at Missouri University

Rainbow: Live in Germany 1976 (this gets the edge over On Stage because it is longer!)

I enjoy Black Sabbath's Live Evil and also Black Sabbath: Live at Last, even though each has its weaknesses. There are probably better live recordings of both line-ups, but this is all I have for each, so I enjoy them thoroughly.

I also recently got Stevie Ray Vaughn: The Fire Meets the Fury, a live radio broadcast album from just before he died, and that is very good.
