Did Beyonce flash the Illuminati sign during her halftime performance? According to legend, the Illuminati are a tiny, super-secret cabal of influential individuals who have shaped the course of world events. So it makes perfect sense that Beyonce would flash their triangle sign to one of the largest viewing audiences in human history. What better way to preserve a secret? That's a definite possibility. Also a possibility? That she was showing some love to her husband Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records, which uses the diamond as its symbol. (Here's a bunch of celebs doing the same thing.) But then again, maybe Roc-A-Fella is in on it too. It's all connected!

Bouncy and her 50 strippers were flashing some much more interesting things.

On the bright side, she didn't lip sync. She just didn't bother singing at all.

That sure looked better than some british rocker in their 70s.

Any of them!

Did I watch? Let's see dozens of scantily clad women bouncing around a stage - yup! What was there not to like for a straight male? The music? Were they even playing some?

I like choreography, and that is what I was looking at. Her left leg was not in sync with the right one when she first began her strutting. The other dancers had their timing with her exact, I just felt that her moves were limited and not inspired for the most part. I think the problem was that the moves did not really match the songs, no synchronicity. The tempo of the songs was fast and pronounced, like staccato, but the moves were almost like marching moves. They just did not seem to really expand the songs.

I like dancers. Alvin Ailey had a fantastic group of dancers, even the old Tom Jones show had some fantastic dancers, music these days all the musicians think they have to do choreograped videos and some are better than others.

Still, I think she is a really good singer, with depth, passion and an inner beauty. I think as a gospel singer she would be stunning.

If she is representing the Illuminati, she should realize this world is only temporary and all they can offer is success in this temporary world.

Nope it is deliberate. If she chooses that, she will end up as one of the women of the new world order.

There are a million boys on schoolyards across America who have always thought that they were flashing a "vagina" sign. Little do they know that they are pawns of the Illuminati.

Having not followed this artist very closely but lately paid attention to her "singing," I get the impression more and more that she isn't really that good a singer but more a studio polished dancer in the vain of most of the studio created pop artists of the past few decades. Obviously she's a huge star, and good for her as she seems to have a strong work ethic and has certainly paid her dues. But a great singer she clearly is not IMO.

I couldn't disagree more. Having a wife and daughter that both love popular music, I've heard a ton of Destiny's Child and Beyonce over the years. I think her vocal range is incredible, and love the way she can blend different types of singing over different genres. I don't mind when they have her music on.

All in the ear of the beholder, I suppose.

maybe you're basing this opinion on the Super Bowl performance? It must be tough to sing while you're working out...

but I agree with Bhawk, the girl can sing.

I suppose. But I have yet to hear her pull of any real vocal chops in the admitted few times I've seen her sing live. I guess I'm skeptical that she's anything more than a studio creation. But again, I haven't made a point to watch anymore than a few performances in a live setting. Besides the Superbowl on Sunday, I did watch a performance of her on the Palladia channel on Saturday afternoon and she was clearly lip sinking to a prerecorded track. Which makes sense given the performance was clearly more about the aerobic aspect than actual singing.

Am I the only one who finds her signing prowess a bit lacking? I'm not discounting her talents as an entertainer, but more as an actual skilled vocalist.

I'd rather be stuck in an elevator in July with a diarrhetic Warthog then watch that half-time show.

No, I turned down the volume, put on some Pandora and then tended to my Sausage and Peppers in the kitchen. Want the recipe?
