I don't like the fact that my first post is asking about ABB guests. The ABB is all I need and then some. In fact one of my favorite shows was the 40th anniversary of Eat a Peach where I do not recall any guests. But, you can't help but wonder.

A few quick internet searches and I see the following during the 2013 ABB Beacon run dates:

Clapton: Doesn't start touring until 3/14, so he's available for the early shows! Which is good, cause I'm going on 3/5!

Santana: Touring in Asia.

Young: In Australia.

CSN: Some tour dates starting June - maybe they need a tuneup at the Beacon?

Skynyrd: Mostly free, but jamming in Chicago 3/15.

Jukes: Playing in NY early March, so they'll be in the neighborhood. Those horns sounded great with the ABB.

Van Morrison: Not sure where he'll be. I loved the Into the Mystic encore ABB pulled off a year or two back.

Robbie Robertson: Maybe? Just watched the Last Waltz again, so got The Band on my mind.

Enjoyed Col Bruce and Susan at previous shows as well. Oz Noy almost set his guitar on fire once - that was the best Liz Reed ever!

Please expand further.

my 1st Beacon shows
Clapton would be more than I could ask for.
Would love to see the Jukes.
Also would want to catch the jazz musicians, ie Evans, Scofield, Brecker, etc
Phil Lesh
Bonnie Raitt
whatever, I'll have a blast whoever comes.

Definitely Bill Evans - a version of Liz Reed just came on shuffle, and Bill was there, I think it was a show in Upper Darby Pa, and he was amazing. Would love to catch a jazz night, that's why I always buy weekday tix.

And that amazing keyboard player, Bruce Katz.

Juke Horns would be cool, as would Chuck Leavell.

Clapton is already on tour on 15/16th so he's out.

I'd love if Jack Pearson could make the trip.

John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page or Robert Plant would be pretty special, methinks.

Robert Randolph. That would be cool.

Don't know where you live, but Robert Randolph and Taj Mahal will be at the Paramount Theater in Huntington, NY on Friday 2/8

Scofield and Frampton would make me happy. I am still blown away by how good the show was a few years back with Scofield.

Sco was unreal; I was there that night. Wasn't that familiar with him - this guy who looked like my High School history teacher came out blowing gum - then oh my god

In a (UK) radio interview Bruce Willis mentioned that he was hoping to sit in. Please tell me that was the deranged ramblings of an egocentric hollywood actor!
If a harp player is wanted Kim Wilson gets my vote. Dr John or Chuck Leavell would also make me very happy.
Looking forward to my 1st 2 beacon shows, I was amazed at how good Greg was in London on the Low Country Blues tour.

I'll take whatever they want to do, but I'd be quite happy if there were no guests for my shows. Either way I will be fine with whatever. The ABB members matter more to me at this point just because I don't get to see them often. The only guest I would really wish for is Dickey which will not happen.
