Last word was we'd be seeing it this year.

My thought is it'll probably be moved back.

Anybody have any info on this project?

Mum's the word. It will probably be available with the new ABB album for a double release. The one with Dickey sitting in. Pre-order your signed copy now for a small premium. Will be released at the EC meet and greet at the Fairway, following the ABB West Coast Tour.

Not until Gregg recuts all his vocals with his current vocal prowess ...

Gregg's voice was damn strong that night. I don't know what they're gonna do with the trainwreck encore though. Despite the Statesboro, one of the best ABB shows I've ever attended. I hope they put this out soon.

Delayed because the Special Edition copies keep getting caught in the Autopen.

I have inside information that the 40th Anniversary DVD will be released on the 40th anniversary of that particular concert.

Gregg is too busy making wedding plans with Shannon, and has not had time to give his final approval.

"I don't know what they're gonna do with the trainwreck encore though."

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the hold up. Gregg is a notorious perfectionist, and God knows he has held up other live releases for less.

They could always just release the show without the encore, which would still be the first two albums in total.

They could re-shoot the encore in a studio with The Staple Singers (like The Last Waltz).

the show was actually the best live show I have ever seen them do and I have seen dozens over the years...the encore was screwed up as were a couple of greggs vocals throughout as always but all in all they were on fire that night

They could roll the credits then show the encore, like they do with the funny out-takes in the movies....

You're all wrong. It's going to be a bonus disc with the next Archival release which will coincide with a Dickey Betts reunion at the Beacon next year.

Dickey's website shows him playing most of March 2013 in the mid-west.
He possibly could play with the Brothers in December for their 2 week of shows at the Fox in Atlanta.
