got a similar report from a friend at the West hampton show.

Hope he keeps his health up through the winter and tears up the beacon in 2013.

Looks like DanB beat me to it...just got up w/ a cup of coffee and was gonna start the same thread! Last night's Charleston show was flawless. Jaimoe started 'er off real strong with a great set and then Gregg just tore the roof off. He was BELTING out lyrics like a man with something to prove! We were sitting centered up the cheap seats in back and we felt like we had the best seat in the house. I've never heard the N. Chas PAC sound so good. A bit of a re-vamped setlist than the Savannah show I saw last year. Gregg busted out Queen of Hearts, much to my delight. Other highlights were These Days, Bullets, well...basically everything. It was that good. The Road Goes on Forever.

I hoping he comes back to Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA this winter. He missed seeing him this year. He was playing down south instead (which makes sense for winter) but he's been up here several years in a row and I hope he returns soon. I thank him and his band for opening the ears of my wife and getting her into the ABB. She went with me in 2007(?) to GA & Friends and has been into it ever since.

Based on the summer tour I thought Gregg had really turned the corner. This is additional great news. An Allman Brothers Band with a fired up Gregg is extra special.

Just got home from the Augusta show and echo all of the previous sentiments concerning a strong Gregg. Crank up the ABB for the beacon run as Mr Allman is in fine voice! He belted out songs, stood and played guitar for at least 4-5 songs and had his obligatory flub . I was blown away by how damn good he sounded. Multi Colored Woman brought me to tears ! I really thought that I had watched the last days of the Brothers at Wannee. My friends, this band has a final charge left in it and I for one plan to attend every ABB show that I can moving into 2013. Is it the final stand? Who knows but I am shocked that Gregg got up one more time.

Always good to see Big Dave, Wayne and Blue dad!

Mornin troops!

Saw the Augusta show last night as well. Gregg and his band were awesome! Like everyone has said before GO SEE EM. Mr. Allman has returned stronger than ever!!!!!

Last saw him witht he brothers in Hotlanta in July and he appeared slimmed down (finally got those hernias taken care of??) and in very strong voice since then.

He sang Queen of Hearts!!!

Wish I could see him in Greenville tonight. Who knows, I just might!!!
