I'm headed out to the show tonight in Columbia, Maryland and was wondering if anyone has general info on two things. Have the Allman Bros. been going on first, or Santana? And does the first band hit the stage relatively on time? Tonight's official starting time is 6:30. Three years ago I saw the Allmans with Widespread Panic at this venue, and Panic went on pretty close to the start time. Thanks to anyone who knows.

Allmans on first tonight, start times are generally prompt. The pattern has been that sit in's happen the second set, IE expect Derek and Warren to sit in with Santana

PNC show said 6:30 on the ticket and the show started at 7.

Merriweather ticket also says 6:30. Allmans go on first, so I wouldn't take any chances.

Ron Holloway originally posted a 7PM start time on his Facebook page, then corrected it to read 6:30. Take that as Gospel. He should be sitting in, I wonder if Paul Reed Smith will?, he generally sits in with Carlos.

I was taping the Panic Show there when they started at 6:30 for the ABB support and arrived at 630 but missed the first Jam as I was setting up. Same thing when Steve Winwood opened for The Dead (with Warren) right on time. Since the Folks that run the 930 club in DC took over for Clear Channel in managing MPP things run pretty much ClockWork as it does at the 930 club. (other than reasonable weather delays)

Traffic can be messy around Columbia, plan accordingly. I avoid RT 29, using MD RT 32 from the west or east and then up Cedar Lane to the HospitaL Then right on the Parkway east to MPP. My Brother lives just off 32 so I use that route both ways to get to Cedar Lane.

Hot and Sunny in Baltimore today, 90F. bring your sunscreen and bug repellant, Skiters can be bad after sunset. I plan to hit the handicapped lot at 6Pm. construction traffic on RT 70 willing.

See y'all at the HTN booth at the break.

(don't post here anymore generally, tired of trolls and blue meanies.
show dayz are an exception. )

Peace
John W Ott

I know at Darrien the tix said 630 and Santana was on the stage at 630 sharp. If the Brothers are on first I might suggest you get there early! Enjoy the show.............

Thanks, you all! I plan to get there with plenty time to spare. I was born well after Duane Allman died but I'm a long time fan, this will be my second time seeing the Brothers. I've seen Ron Holloway sitting in with Derek Trucks Band twice, and with the Allmans the first time I saw them at MPP.

Email from MWP says ABB starts at 6:30; Santana at 9:00.

I believe there is a noise restriction starting at 11:00. Jim
