All I can say is wow! What an amazing double bill. Gregg seemed in good form, aside from a minor flub Statesboro blues lyric, he and the boys were spot on. From One Way Out to Southbound... Pure magic. To those attending any upcoming shows, enjoy!!!

I'll agree!

Great show, band was smoking.

Gregg was strong and looked great.

Fantastic tailgate with all the usual suspects.

Wow. Derek and Warren were pushing it to the limits of the universe last night. Incredible guitar interplay that was blowing my mind all night.

I'm not asking for a setlist, but if attendees could each remember two songs, that would be great. Glad for the good reports nevertheless.

Yes. Didn't wait around for one, but it might be worth picking up. They were in good form last night!

Was it 6:30 on the ticket? Is Santana opening all of the shows? Heading to Jones Beach tomorrow night. Its going to be tight getting out of work and getting there.

6:30 means 6:30, the Brothers are alternating opening slot with Carlos. Tomorrow the Brothers headline, next 3 Santana and last nite the Brothers again. Enjoy....it was a sight to behold and hear. I was told , not sure of the validity that if Carlos sat in with the band, the instant live might have to remove those songs, kinda like the Dylan Dead of 2003, any Dead with Dylan onstage, had the songs removed from commercial release.

An observation, it seemed as tho Derek and Warren were audibling at times, changing up songs, not sure how the performance compared to the written setlist....

So I guess it wasn't just me who heard Black Hearted Woman morph into The Other One...what a relief!!!

Crap, I knew I should have gone. Sometimes laziness sucks. This was one of those times.

Guess I'll pick up the instant live.

Heard a interview with Calos on the show rockline. Was asked if he would jam with The Brothers he would like to,but he is not going to do a song the Brothers do,want it to be different.Think you have a better bet that Derek and Warren come out and play with Santana. Then no insteaded live cd problems.
MULE!!!

Band was smoking and Gregg was as strong as he's been in months, if not years.

The Darien Jessica was as good a version as I've heard Derek & Warren do, and thankfully no jabuma in the middle.

Very high energy shows from both bands.

Good to hear Gregg is doing well. Looking forward to watching Santana for first time. Brothers are playing same old songs still. Thought they might have a new song this summer to play.
