word for valley in the clouds, since it was ALWAYS overcast there from the end of Sept
til March

Scranton is in Lackawanna County

I was going to ask you about that, lono. As I posted in the PeachFest weather thread in AG, when I was up there ('77-'81) it was gloomy and/or rainy at least 80% of the time. It seemed like it, anyway...ugh.

I re-posted as well

No wonder that all we did was get wasted or drunk up there--it was SO depressing so much of the time... I laugh when "The Office" shows scenes from "around town"; please!

the only "around town" shots are the one in the opening credits

,,,and we believe that the back of our old Linden Street row house is pictured in those credits--very briefly.

I don't watch the show very often, but one time I did see the younger couple (don't know the characters' names) walking around town after an event like a 10K, and I laughed out loud at what they were picturing as the streets of Scranton.

I watched that one with my wife. We got similar reactions.

Her initial response was "Where are all the hills?"

Well, so far Moogis sucks - haven't gotten more than 15 seconds of music before it freezes. Then it goes to a play button, which you have to hit to get it going again.... good thing it is free.....

I bet I know the problem.

Butch is using robocameras, and Joe knew Moogis wouldn't work the whole time.

Good to know that we are now a "gang"........... (The MT Gang)............ maybe we should get tattoos of the page 86 guy..................
ix-nay on the page-86-guy. I think we should all get patches that we can apply to our jackets, though. Or maybe I can apply mine to my mouth since I don't seem to know when to keep it shut. (sorry if I have brought unnecessary shame down upon the group ... I mean 'gang')

Good Friday Evening MT! Wish I was in Scranton - rain or not - instead of sitting at this desk cursing at my computer. (Hope they get the problems addressed for you guys trying to watch the shows on Moogis.)

For those who didn't see this on facebook.

Bobby Wallace(the photoman) posted this first, then someone shared on the GABBA facebook page.

"My friend, Tommy Pilcher, painted the portrait of Duane....He sez that this photo was taken at the Long Ridge Place house when Gregg and Cher lived in Macon...."

The photo was apparently taken by Ken Regan.

Late night run through the MT thread! Staying up late listening to music with the headphones on....feel like I"m in high school again. LOL Moogis seems to have worked out the kinks. Glad Mother Nature seems to have given the Peachies a break.
