Morning BHawk, how you been? Other than being busy of course. Enjoy the all star game? They have a fan fest or anything like that in KC?

Cujo!

Busy with life and playing a ton of disc golf, heat permitting.

It was a cool 3 days in KC. I went to the Futures Game/Celebrity Softball Game. We made national news for booing a Yankee. There was a Fan Fest but we didn't make it down to check it out.

Alan, I'm so sorry to hear of your lose of Pearl.
It seems like losing your closest and dearest friend.
I am sad to hear this.
Rest Easy, Pearl.

Cool, glad you're enjoying your summer. I haven't played any disc golf and I am pretty much the only one who does play disc golf. None of my friends really play it. Don't feel like going and playing alone though.

Cool, sounds like was a fun time during all-star game.

Will we see the missus at Wharfstock?

Sorry to read that you are no longer a fireman. I know you really loved that.

Won't be able to make it. I will be at the park later in the year though and hope to bring her there. She is a quiet one but once she is comfortable, she is ok.

Sorry you won't make next week, but see you later in the year.

Picked up some used cd's this weekend - Black Crowes Lions, a J Geils 2 disc anthology, and a BB King-Bobby Blue Bland live cd called I Like to Live the Love that is fun...........

Nice score. I have the J. Geils Anthology. It rocks, of course. Wouldn't mind having the BB King-Bobby Blue Bland cd. It's gotta be good.

Lions is a pretty good album with very little recognition. Audley Freed plays the other guitar. It has a couple really good cuts on it - Cosmic Friend, Young Man Old Man, Cypress Tree.

It sure beats "By Your Side".

By the way, I am really digging Big Moon Ritual. I bet I have a half dozen plays all the way through, and I play "Tulsa Tomorrow" repeatedly.

I'm hangin' in there. It is really weird to get up and not have her right there, ready to go outside, and then eat. She took every step I did. I went to pick tomatoes and cukes last night and almost called for her before I left, but caught myself. That put a big lump in my throat.

I'll definitely get another dog. I don't know how long it will be, but life is too short not to have the company of a goofy, happy dog for very long.

Thank you, Rootie.

Thank you to everyone that has extended condolences. She really was the best and most dependable friend you could ask for. Unless someone else had a pork chop.

It's good all the way through. I was really surprised. And, it grows on you. At first I was kinda wondering about the use of the synthesizers, but after a while, they just fit.

I got Chatt on Aug 16 and Nash on Sept 28, thinking both will be possibilities.

Prayers to you and Pearl, Alan.

It's like they say........

Put your wife and your dog in the trunk of your car for an hour. See which one is happier to see you when you let them out.
