Nice score. I have the J. Geils Anthology. It rocks, of course. Wouldn't mind having the BB King-Bobby Blue Bland cd. It's gotta be good.

Good evening, MT Princes I was just reading the Romney threads. Michael makes me laugh so often. Not to mention that he's right IMHO.

Alan, very sorry to hear you lost Pearl. Anyway you look at it is traumatic to suddenly lose a close friend that is ALWAYS there for you. My pet dog has been very therapeutic for me to have around. Hang in there Bro.

Starting Friday evening, I will be on Vacation for two weeks.

We're not doing much, so I fear that ole Honey Do list will be coming
at me with a vengeance

I was politely informed last night when I walked in the door that Asia has released a new album
and will be appearing at the Keswick theatre one weekend in October.

I was also reminded that draggin said reminder to various shows she had little interest in,
I need to take one for the team.

So ... sounds like I have an Asia show in my future.

On the other hand ... never seen Steve Howe, so ...

Steve Howe is a phenomenal guitarist.

Other than their one hit, I've never heard much of their work.

Along with Duane, Steve Howe was one of my early favorite guitarists. Odd pairing, I know...

What I like about Steve is he can play very fast, but it's always within context of the melody. You don't feel he's showing off.

Maelstrom ( ), Vai and Satriani have always struck me as "Look how fast I can play!"

The "Hey, look at me!"-type players don't interest me at all.
