Sabbath and Purple are at work, apparently, though taking their time. I could always use some Who or Stones.

Mick Taylor is the guy I would most like to hear from, and it has been over a decade since his last.

Until year, I would have said Black Sabbath and The Feelies.

The Sabs are in the studio and The Feelies released their excellent Here Before in 2011.

ZZ Top and Sabbath are both long overdue.
I would sell some of my organs to be able to afford to go to Lolapalooza to see Sabbath.

He just "released" 9 tracks via his website (including new recordings of "Dear Mr. Fantasy" & "Feelin' Alright") titled "Mixed Bag".

Fleetwood Mac
Peter Green
Eric Clapton (of new material...not just new collaborative live albums with new arrangements of old songs)
Leon Russell

Was going to say Little Feat, but I just read over the weekend that they've got a new one on the way.

Dire Straits. They need to reunite first, but still, it's been a while.

James Gang - Joe Walsh keeps talking about it, where is it Joe?

Dave had already released 6-7 of those songs and I know poison ivy is a cover. Add Soundgarden to my list. October is supposed to be the release.

This is true, Blue Oyster Cult's last studio release, the very solid effort "Curse of The Hidden Mirror," was released 11 years ago (2001). However, I read somewhere in "Secrets Revealed" (the ONLY book ever written about Blue Oyster Cult) that Buck Dharma feels that perhaps B.O.C's days of creating new music are over with. With Alan Lanier long since retired, and Eric Bloom's voice in serious decline (he's almost 70 years old), it probably makes sense. They remain a touring band only.

ZZ Top has released 4 tunes from thier upcoming record. "I Got's To Get Paid" is a great stanky ZZ gem.

Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush

My buddy plays with Frank and there has been some talk but more likely to see some DVD release first.

Frank is a different kind of guy and often will walk away from music for years.

Very under-rated player
