I like Colbert ,but I bet he'll get 5 questions in before Gregg gets to answer just one.

This could either be really good or a total trainwreck.

Hopefully he ask him what a mermaid smells like rather than the usual drugs, Duane, and Dickie stuff.

Bad idea, would rather see him help cook a dish with Paula Deen on the food network

I like Colbert, but this is a bad idea. Colbert asks lightning-fast, satirical questions. Even a guest who is really on his toes has trouble keeping up with him and determing whether he's serious or making a joke. There isn't room in the format of that show for Gregg's 2-minute pauses between answers.

Conan has a similar style, but at least he and Gregg have some history. The best we can hope for is that Colbert conducts the interview himself (gives the questions and answers) and that Gregg finds him amusing and laughs a lot.

Agreed. Colbert is way too fast for Gregg.

Thanks for the show info! I'll be sure to watch. Gregg has to know what to expect from Colbert. Either way, great interview or train wreck this should be fun. Hopefully SC is a fan.

As a regular view or the Colbert show we knew Gregg would only be out for about the last five minutes and I have to say he got through it thanks to Colbert's humor...otherwise, he didn't have much to say....but it wasn't a train wreck.

Was not very entertaining either.... I watched this down at my local watering hole with some peeps who were neither fans or die hards. We had turned the volume up and some watched while others paid attention.

I don't believe anyone who saw the show in that crowd felt like buying the book anytime soon.

This is too funny and just goes to show you how different we all are (which is a good thing). I watch and enjoy Colbert but only watched the interview portion of the show last night. My expectations were extremely low due to Gregg's past interviews I have seen and everything else already posted on this thread. I was delighted with the result since 1) Gregg seemed to be enjoying himself, 2) he had a couple of great responses to Stephen's comments i.e. (coke on the B3 on the jet they had just purchased spelled out abrievated Allman Bros hence they really weren't as over the top as one might have presumed), 3) he was quicker on the uptake, and most important to me as an attendee of the upcoming Allgood Music Festival, he looked healthy and well rested.

how many times can people watch these interviews? In the first place Gregg is a horrible interview and half the time he either loses in thoughts or doesnt respond to the questions....also at this point if you have seen one interview you have pretty much seen them all havent you?
