"Renaissance Man" is an amazing CD from an amazing band, which is lead by a wonderful person - by the way, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band is on the cover of the new issue of "Hittin' the Note," which is shipping now - great interviews with every member of the band, which is how Jaimoe wanted it; indicitive of his character and leadership - it's great reading!!

Jaimoe's band is one of the best around. I love the band. I think I've seen them three times.
Jr. Mack is an amazing singer. I'd love to see them more often!

I probably would not have bought this, thinking it was a jazz record. Thankfully, I got it as a gift, and it is excellent.

Don't be put off because you do not like jazz. If you like the ABB, you will like this. Alot.

No no -- Scott Sharrard is the guitarist in Gregg's band -- Awesome player -- let Junior do his thing in JJB -- love Renaissance Man, really need to pick up their Live at the Indrium disc too -- you rock Jaimoe

It is a really good album. I want to have Jr. Mack play at my house... been getting ready to host house concerts and he lives just down the road from me.

When I saw JJB play at the Majestic Theater in West Springfield, Mass, several years ago (for the first time), it was a real eye-opener of the tremendous musical talent and creativity in Jaimoe's ensemble. Since then, I've been a huge fan. They are my favorite ABB side project.

From what I hear & my taste in music, I'm with you on this one. JJB can play quite a few different styles - all blended together in a tasty sound.

I'm with bluedad. This is my favorite of the "offshoot ABB" music that has come out recently. Had Renaissance Man spinning in the car as I ran around town today. Leavin' Trunk makes me kick up the volume quite a bit. Caught the person next to me at the light bopping to it. heh...

Can't wait to see these guys again in a couple of weeks in Newport. JJB on the water. Now that's what I call ingredients for a great night!

This band and all the members are some of the finest!! Proud of how far they have come with the recent album Renaissance Man! Good news is that Junior mentioned there are enough songs waiting for another album too!!

Hey if u have a house party Let me know. I have some video equipment. I've spoken with Jr a few times in the past year when he played open jam with Eric Hayes in Morristown. He's a real smooth player/ singer.

Via Newport Majestic Cruises...

Good morning, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band fans!

The magnificent Jaimoe has been in negotiations with Majestic and we have all been forced to move the date we have all been eagerly awaiting to next month, July 18.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. As this cruise is expected to sell out, we would encourage all of our guest to retain their seats!

Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you in July!

Stephanie
