Thanks Steve.. this is a good interview..nice to see that Dickey Looks and sounds good.

Interesting about Duane doing a slower version of Bruce Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark and perhaps DBGS adding that to their set list...

Great interview by that gal she obviously knows her music history. Dickey looks real engaged, happy and alert. Nice.

Great Stuff. That put a smile on my face. Finally an interviewer who let the guest speak without being interrupted. Keep the tape rolling...

Nice. Don't let Gregg see it; he may blow a gasket if Dickey is deemed a legend.

Great interview. Thanks for posting.

I will never forget the moment I was playing foosball and heard the opening lines of Blue Sky coming from the jukebox. Stopped me dead in my tracks. I have been an avid Goodman fan since childhood, very nice to see Dickey make the direct connection via the Western Swing influence to his and the ABB music.

Also a subtle lesson here in how to speak publicly without bringing out dirty laundry and trying to create hard feelings.

What better way to start the Memorial Day weekend than watching an interview with a bona-fide, certified, bad-ass AMERICAN musical icon ? GOD BLESS AMERICA, & GOD BLESS DICKEY BETTS.

Agreed on all counts....It is awesome to see and hear an interview conducted by someone who either knows, or has done their homework...."In memory of Elizabeth"....

He sounds good as well... Thanks for the link.

As he has through the years Dickey displayed class...no name calling or insults....another lesson Gregg and Butch could benefit from....

Good interview. Dickey looks and sounds pretty good. And yeah, I'll bet it's kind of refreshing to be interviewed by someone that actually knows of you and your music, not someone who crammed 10 minutes before the interview. The what's your favorite color people.

Thanks!
