The Mule back in the studio which should give us an album sometime around Christmas if all goes well. That completely matches the whole Warren debate - who said all that again. Oh yeah it was me. Imagine what talking to the man can accomplish. All that after a couple of WHB releases and the promise of more. Who would have thought? Oh yeah that was me again.

Love seeing the band back in studio but sad that they are bringing Gordie back. Mule mistake in my opinion as that ship has sailed. Not the type of producer that Warren/Mule needs to have an over the top and back to it Mule album. They should have someone more on par with their talents and who is willing to tell it like it is and not just nod and tell Warren how great that take was.

Thats the first thing I thought too. I was thinking they would have gone another direction, fresh start maybe...differnet. I think Michael Barbiero produced most of they're stuff through Deja Voodoo. I could be wrong though.

Hopefully they will get back to some hard driving thumpin music and leave the ducks calls
at home. Get the plow out behind the mule and tear it up!!

Anyone know where they're recording? Is that Jorgen's home studio, Willie's place again, or somewhere new?

Looking forward to new Mule music as well as a mega tour to promote it. I hope Warren took some time to come up with some really memorable tunes but whatever it is you know its going to be good. Mt. Jam barely two weeks away!

Jorgen played on all but 2 tracks on By A Thread. There were 2 hold overs from sessions with Andy Hess. Andy is on "Scenes From A Troubled Mind" and "World Wake Up."

"Scenes From A Troubled Mind"......Possibly my favorite tune on "By a Thread" if only for when the tune explodes and takes off like a "giant airplane." Sort of a hidden gem of a tune in my opinion.....

Again, anyone know where they're recording?

Thanks, Smatter...A different location/studio is a good thing in my opinion.

Stamford, CT supposedly about a 1/2 hour from Warren's home.

My first thought when I saw this and Gordie was back.

Warren needs a real producer and not doing himself or Gordie.
The production on the last two, for me at least, leave a lot to be desired.

'High and Mighty' is one cold record.

"By a Thread" was better, but not by much

I think High & Mighty is a great album. My third favorite behind Dose & Life Before Insanity.

Musically, it's great. The production, on the other hand ...
