Hope y'all don't mind, and I know I've been chastised for doing this before, but when I saw this picture of Gregg, the first thing I was compelled to do was pray for him. If you are of the praying persuasion, I would kindly ask if you would please say one for Gregg. Get well, Gregg, whatever it takes to do that. God bless y'all.

Oh Dave, that pic got me the very same. That pic says heal, not tour, not sign, find Creators love and a good place to heal.

Creator of All That Is, hold this man Gregory L Allman in your light and love, fill him with your Divine energy, and keep Angels and Beings around his presence to protect and guide, and give this man your wonderful energy of Creation to fill his soul and body.

I think he looks pale and tired.. he has been through so much in a short period of time and without really recovering fully.

Sometimes pictures can be very unflattering as well.. the camera caught his eyes as he was maybe blinking ... or just a second of an expression that wasn't complete and the end result is that we see the not so good photo..

Prayers out to him to get strong and stay healthy..

You are a good man with a good heart, Dave. That picture took me aback also. I don't think that's just a "bad angle" or something, that is a picture of a very unwell person.

May the Holy Spirit renew Gregg's health and restore him to vitality.

Dave, I've had the very same feelings of dread after hearing some of the Beacon IL's & seeing the photos posted hereof gregg at several book signings. while we debate ad infinitem about drivel, The voice of the Aallman Brothers Band "appears to me" & i'm cetainly no doctor, to be a very very sick man. I lost one my lifelong very best friends & aheckuva great guy and drummer, last year at 61 to the ravages of Hep-c & resulting Liver cancer, and I'll say I've seen this picture before. My prayers sent for Gregory's health & well being!

Yeah, it could be his eyes are closing just at shutter time, but it's his color that has me concerned. I wasn't trying to be an alarmist, but it's such a contrast from photos taken only a year or two ago, even post transplant. Still, the prayers won't hurt. I just want him to be well.

I was at the book signing Saturday evening at Legends, and I am sorry to say that this picture is not just a bad pcture. Gregg did not look well at all. He has also lost a lot of weight. It seemed like it was a real exertion for him to be doing what he was doing. He barely spoke, and when he did, it was almost inaudible. I felt very sorry for him, because he clearly should not have been doing this.

Jerry Garcia. Does it have to end this way or can we get some pushback in Jesus name?

For years now, I have been worried about his health. Since his interferon treatments for Hep C, the subsequent transplant, and the many other health issues that have arisen, it has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I was mortified when he announced, just 2 months after his liver transplant, that he was going back out on the road. My brain was screaming, it's tooooo soon. Then, when I heard about the European dates, I was terrified for him. It seems, in the last 2 years, one month he looks soooo much better, then a week later, he looks frail. And the cycle starts anew.

Yet, from his own admission, he's just not able to be still for more than a few weeks, before the call of the road shouts out his name, and he's gotta answer it. It is my personal belief, as I posted on GAF (facebook page) ..... . That the very same passion, drive & determination, that was in Duane, is also in Gregg. His musical genius, and subsequential gifts to all of us, can not be quieted, and are as life sustaining to him, as blood & oxygen are to us.

Thank you, Dave, for this thread. I'm sure I am among the majority, when I say that all I want from Gregg is for him to rest, heal, be healthy & happy. And I will continue to hope, pray & wish the very best for him.

Please, get well, gentle giant.

I have felt for some time now that Gregg is a very sick man.
This photo gives me a sense of dread but I am glad Dave posted it and also I'm glad someone from the book signing gave his insight. I think fans should know.

I wish Gregg would stop what he has been doing overworking himself and never getting enough rest.
His life is more important than signing books and I also wish he would stop all these tours. He needs to take a year off and heal himself. Of course I have nothing to say about it It's his life.

I hope to have him around for a long time and that is why I'm posting this!
All I can do is send my love to Gregg and hopes for healing.
