Hey jzfunk Johnny has been busy doing a lot of different things DJing, news reporter, entrepreneur, etc. He toured with the Rockstar Supernova group filling in for Jason Newstead and he was in Train as well as the touring bassist prior "Hey Soul Sister."

Johnny was a legit member of Train for a few years (not the Wallflowers). He was most recently one of the soccer coaches for my daughter's U8 soccer team the past two seasons......He missed the last few games & practices and now I know why! Nice guy who was just a "regular neighborhood Dad" the last few years.

Wow! That is a heck of a transition, Tim!
Meatloaf was the coach of a girls' softball team a few towns away from me for a while - they called him "Coach Loaf."

And Jack Pearson and Jimmy "Hearing" appear on how many ABB recordings?.. Not to mention the large discrepancy in number of band members, when the band with the most changes is also the one with only one original.

yes but every ABB member mentioned was counted as an official member. 2 skynyrd drummers you mention were never ever part of the group but last minute fill ins for mike and you still never explained how bob brown played guitar for skynyrd from 1982-1984 when lynyrd skynyrd did not even exist in that timeframe? a

If you count all the drummers/guitarists that have sat in for an ABB members that couldn't make it to or through a show, their list is bigger.

As for the original member issue, I guess that is true. But I don't recall Butch or Jaimoe writing any epic songs. Could replace either in a heartbeat and the band would sound the same.

The whole "which band is sucking off their legacy more" debate is comical. They both are.
