The seller goes on to say how he/she got this copy from the band's manager who has promised to include backstage passes with his/her copy. Clearly the seller hasn't done their homework because he's not sure if it's even signed yet. Gotta love it. Not bad for a 125% markup. Hope no one pays for this.

Oh boy... LOL ... what about this one who promises to have the buyers name included in signing (if your name is Jim it will say 'to Jim'. Unless the store doesn't allow the author to personalize In which case it won't. That will be $125 please. Ka-Ching!)

What seperates this book listing from the others is:

My source is a former Allman Brothers Road Manager

He has arranged for Gregg to autograph it

AND

he has promised to include

A SET OF AUTHENTIC

BACK STAGE PASSES

FROM A PREVIOUS TOUR

Wow. This guy DEFINES sleazebag. Same set of passes, I'm sure, that I got with my book two days ago.

The sad thing on this one is some poor sap will pay the $125.00 and Gregg never autographed the book.
I guess I should quit complaining on the $8.00 I got screwed out of on my "signed" copy.

Just looked again someone must have said something because the item is no longer available. Even so, more people must be receiving their signed copies because a bunch of new ones appeared since yesterday. I'm all for making a buck but c'mon....going about it this way doesn't seem right to me. A bunch of them have it listed that the book will be signed in May which means there's going to be a line full of unscrupulous Ebay sellers in line at these signings. I'V have thought it would amount to misrepresenting the item if it's not already signed....what if the book sells and it never gets signed? These books are all going for between $65 and $125. Seems a lot for a book going for $20 unsigned.

Sadly I'm not. Just a bit irritated by it I guess. But such is the way of the world these days.

I mean it's sorta true. That's more than you get with some people.

I am confused though, did ANYONE get autographed copies of this book? I have seen pictures of signed copies on my Facebook, so I guess someone must have one.

Mine arrived Thursday so they are out there but I had seen a lot of people wondering the same thing you mentioned which is what prompted my Ebay search. I figured a bunch would wind up there, but the number of people offering what they don't have far outnumbers the ones that are actually signed. There are also a lot of new listings for unused back stage passes which obviously came from the book delivery.

Funny, Gregg would not sign my Gretsch, because he did not want to see it on E-Bay!....But it is OK to auto-pen books and have them show up on E-Bay!
