Hi Y'all,

Just wanted to let you know that HTN got the GA books in on Thursday and we have been working around the clock to pack and ship them out to you!

Although I am obviously biased, this is the best artist autobiography I have ever read - and I have read me quite a few. Not only in the content but in the presentation as well. EJ, at the Big House, worked very hard to get amazing pictures in the book that I have never seen and John Lynksey contributed significantly to the text. John is the best writer we have at HTN and his talent really shines in this book.

It is very hard for me to ever hear something new about the ABB, GA or Duane and there were so many new details my mind absorbed from this incredible book that I am reading it again because it is so fanscinating.

As of today, we have shipped all orders through March 20th and by Monday almost all of the orders, both domestic and international, should be shipped. We look forward to hearing what you think of the book!

Sorry we haven't been answering the phones at the office but we wanted to dedicate all of our resources to getting this book out. Thanks to all who ordered from us - it keeps us going and we really appreciate it!

If you don't have this book yet, you can order it at this link:
http://www.hittinthenote.com/cart/p-1379-gregg-allmanbrmy-cross-to-bearbrne w-autobiography.aspx

We are also offering a special where you can get the GA book and a hardback "Skydog" book for 44% off! Just click on the link above.

Thanks,

JNB

everyone involved with the writing and production of "My Cross to Bear" is very pleased and proud of the book; we all hope that Gregg's fans will come away with insight, new information and an enjoyable reading experience - we'll find out on Tuesday!

Amazon says I will get mine Tuesday.

I also noticed that they said "SkyDog" in paperback is updated, has some material that was not in the hardcover. Anyone know about that?

Yep, the 2008 paperback is a revised and expanded (6 pages) version of the 2006 hard cover release. I can't be helpful on the significance of the newer version because personally i only have the 2006 hardcover.

Having, for unknown reasons, gotten a way early copy of the book delivered on my Kindle, and obviously having finished reading it some weeks ago, I can promise each and every one of you that you are going to LOVE this book. It is all at once, honest, funny, gritty, vulgar, sweet, sorrowful and a hundred other things I cannot think of at the moment. Good job Gregg, co-author and editors. This is the best rock biography I have ever read. it surpases Keith Richard's "Life".

Wow, thank you; that is high praise indeed! - I shared your comments with all involved, and they send their thanks as well - HTN has plenty of copies available, so if you haven't yet ordered your copy of "My Cross to Bear," no better time than the present

Thanx for the update, I wanted a signed one and actually took a 12 hr vacation day for tomorrow as I was on shift, but with that book signing tour postponed I thought I might've missed the boat.

I just bought one online to lock myself into one just in case I can't make the rescheduled book dates, but I want to look Gregg in the eye, shake his hand and thank the man personally. So I'll still be looking for those, I may leave this one in the wrapping unopened.
