Alright, I thought it was time this was addressed...why does the TTB forum suck so hard? Seriously, it's like they're trying to prevent fans from discussing the band. Thread replies don't show up chronologically, there are no sub forums, no option for an personalized avatar, no post count...

I look at an artist like Joe Bonamassa, with the huge effect his forum has had on his fan base (and I do mean huge), and I can't help but wonder who's in charge over there at TTB's website! The DTB forum wasn't fantastic, but it was loads better than what TTB is sporting at the moment.

The TTB forum has been up for at LEAST a year and 39 weeks (I looked it up, that's when I joined), they need to get their s*#@ together. These days if a bigger group doesn't have a (decent) place for fans to discuss the music they're wasting tons of opportunities to expand their fan base.

This post is more me just venting, but I'd love to hear thoughts on this.

I tend to come to this site for TTB news and discussion because it is easier to navigate.

I am curious as to what is the " huge effect" is on Joe's fan base you are claiming?

Joe's forum has served as a meeting place for hardcore fans and casual fans alike, I really don't think his street team would be where it is without it.
I used to be very active on his forum, and I've made life long friends because of it! Stuff like street team activity, forum meetups, sales contests (where one member won herself a JB Les Paul), show reviews/set lists/pictures, have all been affected by his forum. Joe's street team members are incredibly dedicated to telling people about him, I don't think it would be as big without a forum since the most active street team members are also the most active forum members.

I've found that when music fans have a place to discuss the music they like, their excitement builds even further, they find more ways to enjoy the artist. A casual fan who strolls onto an artists forum and sees 10 active threads is more likely to check it out further than if they see that the last post was a week before, in my opinion.

Agree w/ Danny. TTB is fast becoming one of my favorite bands. Can't even find a Wanee setlist. I'm not expecting Every Companion level historicals, just an easy place to virtually meet. Where was Maurice and Summer?
