It was my pleasure, Kudos to the NMA & their folks behind the scenes for their performances & policies, They have enough confidence in their product to allow video taping. All rights reserved of course.

What did you think of their version of Turn On Your Lovelight? I thought that & some other covers like Hendrix's Hear My Train A Comin' were beautiful. My Babe, Chevrolet, Some Kind Of Wonderful/Can I Get A Witness, Nice interpetations! Those plus a nice mix of their own material made it just under 2 1/2 hours of bliss.

If they come near ya, It'd be a tasty piece of musical steak!

Love the NMAS.... the duo thing not so much. Anybody know what the point/purpose of that is?

In a nutshell, $. Bassist, Chris Chew, drives a bus to make a living. I guess its all about the band schedule and what tours make it worth his while to play, or drive. I enjoy just hearing the brothers play, but its definitely better when Chew is holding down the low end.

Who knows what responsibilities Chris has to family or other projects? They all have other things happening. Luther's got those CD's of 3 different projects coming out in a couple weeks, Hopefully Cody kick starts the HCR & Chris gets his Soul Revue going?

I love the thunder he brings, but loved the Duo when I saw them @ The Iridium last year too.

On a related note, I dug out the 5 CD instant live I got from the Another One For Woody show and Luther had stated when they first started out as the NMA Duo in '98 that it was Gov't Mule who took them out on the road and how Woody would always join them onstage every night and what a sweet man he was.

What a nice revisit it is, A lot of beautiful moments on there!

Here's a pic revisit...
