Is this the first ABB show with no one onstage named Allman?

March 1st, 1996. I'm not sure he "took ill" though.

I think it was March 1996 Gregg was out for the second set. Thats Berry Oakley not Barry and he is not really Jr but he has said he's used to being called Jr. I think his name is Berry Duane Oakley. I love his playing and singing and he is a real humble nice guy too.

There was a show in Japan in 1991 or 1992 with no Gregg. Warren sang his songs. i have a recording of it but the sound quality is rough.

Well, there was that year at Wanee w/o Gregg, but technically they called themselves the Wanee Family Band or some such.

Big first set. Miss Gregg's voice but Bruce Katz played beautiful keyboard on Jessica. Really gorgeous.

Yes it's true, I was at that show. It was in March of 1996 at The Beacon. Gregg played the entire first set but sat out the second set. He had a motorcycle accident a few days befor the Beacon run and broke some ribs. He played with some type of flac jacket on, but looked a bit uncomfortable. Page did a really great job filling in though. I remember the "True Gravity" they did that night was off the charts.

...given that they teased MT Jam in Jessica, I am going to guess there will be no full blown MRT Jam tonight which is too bad. I believe that makes only one MT Jam the entire run.

Hope they play My Favorite Things again tonight too. Only once the whole run? Was hoping to see more of that one. A lot more.

I think it's a bad disc problem with Gregg which also contributed
to the pain in his shoulder last night.
~Thank you Gregg, Be well~

I caught that Mountain Jam with Bill Evans & Nels Cline. Wasn't a very traditional one (though it was quite good) at that

I for one am hoping for and somewhat expecting a killer Mtn Jam.
