I was watching the video Needle and the Damage Done 3-24-12 and was looking at the
they're amps behind them. I think recently Derek and Warren are involved with some PRS
stuff . I noticed kinda behind Gregg I saw a Crate Powerblock, I think a PRS behind Derek and maybe a Crate combo on the floor behind Derek also. Warrens it looked like maybe a Carr or Diaz amp head. Hard to tell and it was sitting on top of another amp head also. Could not make that out, but I saw some logo in the corner. I thought he was using Soldano also. Seeing the Crate stuff was kind interesting. I have had a Crate Palomino 32 amp head and it sounded pretty good.
Maybe somebody could clarify...just being curious!!!

Reminds me of the Jimmy Thackery song "Cool Guitars" - I'm gonna sell the b!tch's car, and get myself a cool guitar...

In this case it would be cool guitar equipment.

I think Derek is playing the PRS Dallas which is a basically a copy of Eric Johnson's vintage Marshall head.

Warren has had His Soldano since I first saw Him in '89 at the reunion tour. Caused me to change my mind about getting a Marshall and I got a Soldano. Love it with a passion!!!

Soldano's are very nice , but come with a heavy price tag. I am still of the belief you don't have to mortgage your house or give up your first born to sound good. Names mean nothing to me as far as equipment.Marshall-....does nothing for me.

I definitely couldnt afford one now...but in 1989 the price was pretty close to the Marshall...and after 22 yrs no problems except tube change...I just was lucky and grew up when equipment was reasonably affordable.
