That was great! Thanks. Slightly different vibe than usual for those days. Real nice version. Would love to see the whole show.
Is me just mean or does everyone seem real high? Sort of a perma-smile on their faces. ____________________ Chicago Black Hawks - next season.

Albert passed away less than 4 months after this. I saw the show a week before in Chicago and although he didn't play with the ABB he did his walking through the crowd bit (he and Buddy Guy had the longest guitar chords in the world) and he came over to where I was sitting and played not 5 feet away from me for almost 10 minutes. It was like having your own private Albert Collins performance. You would never have known he was dying - I'm sure he did - and he gave it 110% the way he always did.
God Bless Albert Collins, The Master Of The Telecaster. He was a True Blues Giant if there ever was one. Man, do I miss him.
BTW, I would LOVE to get a copy of this show if anyone is willing to trade or do a B & P... ____________________ "Love Like You've Never Been Hurt"-Satchel Paige |
